Perth City Center Perth|0.55km from Wesley Uniting Church
Check in was quick and easier, you do have to pay 100 dollars a night for security which is a bit annoying but it is what it is, you can use for to pay hotel services which a reduce at the moment so not alot you can use it for, you can pay via cash, debit or credit card i suggest cash or debit card that way you get it back right away We stayed in the deluxe premier room which was amazing with it king size bed and over sized pilows which both very comfortable, the room has nice and long curtains and blind behind them wich help block out most the sunlight except for the end where it doesn't quiet reach the wall properly near the bed. The a small window which can be opened to let some air in the room wich is nice. The bathroom is a great size with plenty of room to move around. With the bath been the highlight. Nice and deep enough to fit a couple for them movie style romantic couple baths 😄. The bath has a wooden plank sitting across it for the glass if wine or food if you wish. Aslo has little bath bomb which was a nice treat. Shower was good except couldn't figure how to change it from rain shower to the the hand held one 🤷‍♂️. The room is provided with T2 teas and drip filter coffee sachets and two bottles of complimentary water which is not common in alot of hotels. Didn't use room services as they have removed this service and are using the tavern restaurant menu instead with limited hours. We ate at the Ramen place which is now in my top in Ramen places in Perth with Nao make up the other. The Ramen was a thicker style broth but was full of flavour and come with complimentary hard boil eggs We couldn't use the roof top bar as it only open on Fridays at the moment which was disappointing only found out cause I overheard another patrons being told it would of been nice to see it be put on the hotel website so people know before hand All in all a great place to stay will stay again

Holiday Inn Perth City Centre, an IHG Hotel
4.6/560 Reviews
Perth City Center
Location next to the Apple shop in Perth. Nice and central. Close to shopping cbd area and close to supermarket Woolworths and the Coles at Raine Square. Used it as a base to explore Perth right next to.wesley church which was a nice landmark close to the hotel. Parking is hard though and expensive. Room was very clean and lovely but u had to ask for things like toothbrush and shaver which they kindly delivered to the door. Polite staff were always kind and helpful and eager to please. I was given a generous late check out. The cleaning lady was super nice too. One issue was my room was so far from the lift lobby. Another thing the water dispenser was located next to a open gap dustbin and sometimes i could see flies hovering near the bin while filling my watet hurriedly next to it. Overall i enjoyed my stay there.
InterContinental Perth City Centre, an IHG Hotel
4.6/556 Reviews
Perth City Center
I stayed at Intercontinental to celebrate a birthday. The hotel provided a complimentary bottle of wine, which was very nice. The room was very small for the price paid, and considering the hotel is relatively new, it felt a little dated. We paid extra for club lounge access and wished we hadn't. It has to be one of the worse lounges I've ever visited. It was very dated and had no atmosphere, apart from feeling sterile. The food offerings were very poor. Evening canapes looked like they had been sat out for hours and were of poor quality. Breakfast was even less appetising. It was a combination of dry reheated food and cold food that had been sat out for too long, most of which was inedible. The lounge service was adequate but certainly nothing special and not five stars. On check out, I was asked how our stay had been and said it was adequate but nothing more. The checkout assistant just thanked me for staying. I responded to the hotel's generic email for feedback but received no reply, which begs the question of how much attention and consideration they give to guests' feedback. With so many hotels now available in Perth CBD, the Intercontinental needs to up its game to attract return guests.
Doubletree by Hilton Perth Northbridge
4.5/5136 Reviews
Perth City Center
Stayed at Doubletree Hilton Perth Northbridge for 7 nights during my first visit to Perth. Location is really convenient with food and public transport easily accessible. Rooms and amenities were decent, except for the neighbouring bars that can get really noisy up to 2/3AM in the morning during the weekends. Remember to request for a room facing the back to avoid the noise disturbance from neighbouring bars/ restaurants. Free cookie is available during check in. Room also did not provide dental kit, however available upon request. Other than that, i have no other complaints!
The Hive Hostel
2.6/522 Reviews
Perth City Center
This Hostel is very great : localisation, service, organisation… Its « roots » mood make you feel home really quickly ! People are nice, staff is listening to any issues you can have and help you solve it at anytime. There is a backyard which is a really good +. The hostel is clean, kitchen is functional and there are also many bathrooms so no need to wait long to get yourself wash. If you plan to stay in Perth a long time working, it’s the best hostel cause they have long-term availability which guarantee you your bed for a period of time as long as you keep reminding the staff you’ll stay a week more. To sum up, if you wanna stay in Perth for a long period of time, the Hive Hostel is the best.
Rydges Perth Kings Square an EVT hotel
4.5/540 Reviews
Perth City Center
We upgraded to an executive room, which was very comfortable. We could not get near enough to the hotel on arrival to park and check in. There is a small very narrow lane way that runs from Wellington St to Murray St with no indication of which way the traffic flows. We parked up eventually on Murray St in a multi storey and fortunately our one suit case was easily wheeled the 100 metres or so to the hotel. The hotel info was all available on the room tv screen. I checked breakfast times and saw it was served up to 10-30 am on a weekend. Next morning we arrived at breakfast at 9-45 am. The waiter looked somewhat taken aback. There was only enough orange juice for 1 person, the tank on the tea maker was dry, there was no butter or bacon. The water tank was refilled, butter produced. The chef lifted the lid of the scrambled eggs and they looked disgusting. I asked the waiter if we could have a fried egg. He had to go find the chef. He cooked the eggs, burnt on the bottom runny white on the top. My breakfast at a cost of $30 consisted of one slice of toast 3 mushrooms, half a scoop of congealed baked beans and half of a very sad looking tomato, plus the delicious burnt egg, one cup of black tea. I heard the waiter and chef grumbling together about breakfast times and their attitude prevented me from complaining and asking for fresh food. It transpired that breakfast time had been changed to finish at 10am. The receptionist enlightened me as we checked out next day. There was still a sign on reception saying that breakfast on a weekend lasted until 10 -30am. Needless to say we breakfasted elsewhere next day. It's a soul less hotel, with about as much vibe as a grave yard. We used the fantastic bar of the new Novotel directly behind Rydges. I also found we could have stayed there at a cheaper rate! Will not be returning.
European Hotel
4.4/564 Reviews
Perth City Center
The European Hotel retains much of its distinctive style but it IS different under the new management. Miss Maud is on an extended break but it looks like the wonderful buffet cafe/restaurant on the corner has gone forever. There is a small coffee shop as part of the complex. We were disappointed with the service. Offerings were fairly limited and not cheap. But there are other options nearby. The hotel is now more Eurasian. There is nothing wrong with that of course. Staff at reception are professional but can be curt at times. I endorse the comment of the reviewer who mentioned information about wifi and password was not freely given at check-in. Having said that, the free wifi was very good. Room was as we expected. Comfortable but the airconditioning took a little while to get used to. The hotel is an easy walk from Perth railway station so it is convenient for people using the new (October 2022) airport line. Public bus services pass close by. Many businesses in the area have closed down but the hotel surroundings are generally safe. However, some patrons may feel a little uneasy about some of the local street and homeless people.
