"The director should organize a meeting soon to straighten out the behavior of certain employees ... especially at the reception! The 4 stars are seen above all by the elegance that you receive"
La Meridiana Bleisure Hotel
"Consistent quality, good location. Not bad breakfasts."
Best Western Hotel Quattrotorri Perugia
"Stayed for 2 nights while traveling in a rental car in Tuscany. Arrived via Rome-Civita di Bagnorezzo-Orvieto and stayed for 1 night. The next day, travel to Assisi and stay for one night. Since I was planning to travel to Pienza the next day, it was a perfect base hotel... Clean and friendly hotel."
Sangallo Palace
"The best you can get and decent priced"
Rosetta Hotel Perugia Tapestry Collection by Hilton
"I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Rosetta Hilton in Perugia. The management team and staff deserve enormous credit for their caring, professional and genuinely helpful manner towards guests. They were absolutely faultless throughout our stay — accommodating, polite and welcoming at all times. They made us feel completely at home; thoroughly decent people doing a fabulous job. Thank you The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere was helped further by breakfast being served until 11am each morning, which made for a very civilised and unhurried start to the day. We were also very grateful to be allowed a late checkout extension until 2pm, which made our final day far more comfortable and relaxing. The hotel team also arranged a wonderful visit to the nearby Goretti Winery, where my wife and I were warmly welcomed by the charming and extremely knowledgeable Sara and Giulia Goretti, representing the fourth generation of the Goretti family estate. We were served a beautiful traditional Umbrian meal by Giulia, accompanied by the family’s exceptional wines. What made the experience even more special was that this intimate dinner for two was unexpectedly served in the tower room, surrounded by traditional family furniture and history. It created a genuine “wow” moment during our trip and became one of the highlights of our stay. The Hilton team have clearly chosen their local partnerships very well. There were just a couple of minor irritations during the stay, which I suspect may stem more from wider corporate Hilton policies than from the local hotel management itself. • One bottle of water allocated per room for the entire stay felt a little restrictive. Whilst certainly not a deal breaker, charging €4 for additional bottles seemed unnecessary and slightly mean-spirited given the otherwise excellent hospitality. • Tea and coffee facilities in the room did not include milk. I appreciate this may be less common outside the UK! Thankfully, a very kind restaurant waitress provided me with a pot of milk, which kept our supply of English Breakfast tea going throughout the stay. Overall, these were only very minor points within an otherwise excellent stay. In fact, they stood out precisely because the local management and staff were so exceptionally good in every other respect. I do wonder whether some wider corporate Hilton policies may unintentionally hinder the flexibility of the local team. A little more empowerment for the onsite management — who are already doing an outstanding job — would likely resolve these small irritations very easily. Most importantly, however, what we will remember from this trip is the warmth, kindness and professionalism of the Rosetta Hilton team, together with the unforgettable hospitality of the Goretti family. Both contributed hugely to making our visit to Perugia such a special and memorable experience. We enjoyed our time in Perugia so much that we are already planning to return for the Umbria Jazz fes"

La Locanda Paradiso
"Paradiso it isn’t. Stairs and no lift though the nice young staff carried the cases up. The shower and wasbasin were in the room, only the lavatory behind frosted glass. No wardrobe, just a few hangers on the wall. No drawers or shelves, just no storage. Wooden floor with splinters. But convenient for the airport, very close indeed, and quiet. Parking area not signed clearly. The restaurant was very good, excellent dinner and breakfast."
Il Castellaro Country House
"Fantastic experience. Grazie mille Paolo and staff for brilliant stay. Great host and fantastic restaurant, room and service. Buy some of their olive oil, it's magnificent. We did and are enjoying it to eat as well as a happy reminder of our stay."
Hotel Il Castellaccio
Perugia Plaza Hotel
"We really loved this hotel. It has a traditional hotel feel to it, with very friendly helpful staff. We started mid July and it was very quiet, so this review may reflect that as we had the run of the pool and services due to low residency. It is situated outside of the main old town centre and of you arrive without a car as we were you will need to be of moderate fitness to walk in to the town centre as it’s a steep walk up, however there is an escalator for part of the way. I would recommend visiting the Marmore falls which you can get to from Perugia station direct via Terni. Once at terni it’s a short ride on the bus. This I would say is best to arrive early for, and spend the entire day there! Also Assisi and Solleto are two other Umbrian towns on the same train line we’ll worry a visit. Travel costs are very reasonable. Overall a great place to visit, and the Perugia hotel is a lovely place to stay. Bear in mind a bus is best to catch from the station to the hotel, as when you arrive with your luggage the pavements are in very poor condition to cart a suitcase along. "
Le Cappuccinelle Suites&Spa
"This hotel and spa is a hidden gem! It is located in a amazing spot away from the noise with beautiful facilities and a very spacious room, the spa is just so relaxing and the staff very thoughtful. I totally recommend this place for a getaway or after traveling through Italy to relax and recharge during the route. A true place for wellness."
Domus Volumnia Country House
"Small and quaint accommodation establishment located right outside Perugia, in a quiet setting with beautiful surroundings and views. Breakfast was very good and staff were very nice and helpful. The only drawback is that since it is an old building, there is no lift. For the rest, I would definitely recommend for those staying at Perugia."
Borgo Mandoleto - Country Resort & Spa
"Soaking-Up The Umbrian Countryside We spent a very pleasant 3 nights at this small, charming bed & breakfast. The rooms at the Borgo Mandoleto were large and tastefully decorated in a countryside theme. The grounds were beautiful, and there were many places (including the swimming pool) to sit with a coffee or an aperitivo and soak-up the beautiful Umbrian countryside. There is a good restaurant next to the B&B, and several sites [Perugia, La Citta della Pieve, Lago di Trasimeno, and Solemeo (for a wonderful aperitivo)] are within a short drive. Donatella was a gracious hostess who served a nice breakfast (the tortes are not to be missed) with very good English."
Perugia Park Hotel
"Clean and well-located hotel. Friendly staff."
Hotel Priori Secret Garden
"I was very satisfied with the breakfast. The soundproofing was okay. But why did I need to pay 20 euros for the final city tax? Others paid 2 yuan a day, but he paid 5 yuan a day."
Residenza il Punto
"Beautiful place and very helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. We wish we could have stayed longer. It is some distance from the centre however we can highly recommended it especially in the summer. Lovely garden and view from the terrace."
Grifone Hotel
"the worst hotel in Perugia with poor service - situation from 16 years ago about the morning of departure we pay for the week as agreed with breakfast in the morning and that's it... over 500 euros we added 4.50ct, only because one morning instead of going down at 8.00 to have breakfast we went down at 8.30 and so they made us pay only because the waiters had cleared the table.. poor starving people.... HOTEL HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!"
The Bank Hotel - Etruria Collection
"I stayed at the Bank Hotel in early May 2024 since Locanda della Posta was full. Apparently, the hotel had just opened about 10 days before our arrival and so was still working through the details. Some things to know: there was no hotel signage so I walked to the top floor of the building in search of the hotel before crossing the street to Locanda to find out where the rooms were. There’s actually no reception at the Bank. The hotel should share this upon booking. Our door didn’t lock properly so someone had to come fix it, and the light switches didn’t all work properly so we had a difficult time turning on and off the lights. I have no doubt these details will be worked out over time. I just wish we had a warning. The positives: our room looked out over the town square and beautiful Perugian rooftops. We could see the sunset in the evening. The room was spacious and a great size for two friends. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was large and well appointed. I look forward to returning in the future."
B&B Spring
"After a long time without taking a vacation, I had chosen this property online, which already looked promising from the photos. Already after the first phone calls for the reservation, the kindness and professionalism of Mrs. Francesca made me anticipate the future stay. On the day of check-in, everything represented in the photos materialized before my eyes: a wonderful Nature with a dense forest adjacent, a lawn and various flowering plants that surround the property. The additional surprise was the terrace in front of the hall from which you have a spectacular view of Perugia and where we had breakfast every morning. Every day that we visited a location we returned to the property to rest before dinner; it had become our oasis of peace ... in fact, to tell the truth, more than one morning we risked being late for breakfast due to the excellent night's sleep. Cleanliness, friendliness but above all experience and professionalism are guaranteed! As I specified in the title, unlike many misleading photos of locations here we had a truly satisfying experience and we will definitely return if we ever come to Umbria again. See you soon 👋👋🤗"
WelcHome - Suites -
"Right in the middle of old Perugia, great position. The room was clean and large - lots of it utilised by the large bathtub and sauna. Double sinks were nice, as was the rainwater shower and friendly welcome. We had the double room (#3) with a queen bed but wouldn’t classify it as a suite or apartment as advertised. The kitchen was a small refrigerator, coffee machine, and a double hob - with minimum cutlery and cooking pans. (No oven or microwave). The wash machine was shared with all apartments in a room down the hall - again not as advertised - but modern and efficient. We stayed three nights and our room was never cleaned, clean towels not offered and no replenishment of coffee and tea supplies (which were minimal to start with). It was also quite loud out our window with the restaurant across the lane way - the only night we got undisturbed sleep was when the restaurant was closed on Sunday. At around 140 Euros per night, we felt like our room wasn’t the best value, although we certainly enjoyed staying in the heart of Perugia village."
