Hotel Rosalba
"The hotel staff were Japanese, so I was able to travel alone with peace of mind."
Sangallo Palace
"Wonderful hotel that has all the amenities and is a short walk to the centre through a series of escalators. Very informative staff and clean modern room with good pressure on the shower."
Little Italy Hostel Ex Chiesa S Donato
"There is no heating in the room!"
Perugia Park Hotel
"Great Hotel and beautiful SPA"
Hotel S. Ercolano
"Location was perfect. Close to mini metro and situated within the old town. Has the basic amenities needed for short stays. My only issue was that you can hear the banging of doors and noise in the corridor inside your room. Other than that, it was a good stay."
Locanda Della Posta, Etruria Collection
"All really good."
Hotel Fortuna
"Excellent location and excellent service."
Santa Cecilia Perugia - Rooms&Suite
"Don't even dream of booking this place if you don't use Whatsapp, because it's very difficult to communicate with them otherwise. And even so, after getting no response about leaving our luggage at noon, it took about 15 minutes to get buzzed into the facility. The skylight over the bathtub was so badly broken that all the heat went out through it. When we tried to go out again we wanted to test all of the keys so we could be sure of getting back in quickly and the key to the outer door got stuck in the keyhole. We finally were able to get an answer to our call, but the person didn't seem to understand our problem either in English or my good Italian."
Hotel Umbria
"We loved our stay at Hotel Umbria. Our room was very quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was super, and for only 4 Euros, you couldn't do better. The location was super, close to restaurants and historic sights. Best of all, the staff was amazing! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable."

Castello di Monterone
"Very good hotel"
Hotel Perusia
"Hotel that is well located just outside the center. Very helpful staff, with private parking spaces. Breakfast is not lavish but something for everyone. Swimming pool on the roof is wonderful with various relaxation areas. Sun loungers and towels are ready"
Relais Dell'Olmo
"We spent 12 days in Umbria and used Perugia as our home base. This lovely hotel is about 10 minutes from the center of Perugia. You must have a rental car to stay here as the bus rarely comes by and it is not within walking distance of Perugia center. We had a car so no issues for us, There is excellent on site free parking. The hotel is wonderful. Big thanks to the fabulous Jessica and Aymen at the front desk! They helped us every day and made dinner reservations for us several times. They were always warm, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and lovely. The shower is small, but typical for Europe. The buffet breakfast included in the room rate is phenomenal. There is nothing they have not thought of to serve!! The staff at breakfast are also absolutely lovely. We had a wonderful time at this hotel!! Highly recommend."
Borgo Dei Conti Resort Relais & Chateaux
"Just returned for 4 nights at this lovely hotel after its long renovation. I was traveling with my wife and adult daughter and we had two rooms. We booked our rooms through Amex fine hotel and resorts which included free breakfast and room upgrade. I had booked executive room for my daughter and her upgrade was to a slightly higher category room with a small viewing room up a flight of stairs. Our room was a deluxe suite and we were given a patio suite as an upgrade. The rooms were both very nice. Our suite was huge with small patio and very nice bedroom and living room. The decorations were lovely. The biggest issue of the room was the air conditioning. During our visit it was quite hot and the a/c in our suite room could not cool the room to a comfortable level. The manager of the hotel was very apologetic and brought us a fan to help and assured us they would address the issue after we left for future guests but the lowest we could get the room at night was 76 to 77 degrees which was too hot for us to sleep. My daughter’s room cooled to about 70 her room was better in that regard. Additionally I found the mattress to be too firm but my wife and daughter felt it to be comfortable. Other positives were the staff were all friendly and the manager really tried to help make our stay enjoyable. The grounds were lovely and the pool was the perfect temperature. We had breakfast every day which was nice but not quite to the level I expected given the cost of the rooms but still very good. Dinner by the pool was very good with excellent pizza and pasta. We also had dinner at Cedri which was a big disappointment. We did the chef tasting meal for 155 euros per person. The dinner service was quite slow with meal taking almost 3.5 hours. The food had a few good courses but several courses were not very good. They did have an excellent wine list at reasonable choices. For the price and service at Cedri I would not recommend eating there. Overall, the resort is lovely and a beautiful setting. Had the air conditioning worked I would have enjoyed our stay but 4 sleepless nights in the heat really put a damper on our experience. If you could be confident the air conditioning was fixed I would not hesitate to recommend this resort. Given the managers eagerness to make guests happy, I think he will get it working and maybe with more time and training Cedri will improve. The area of Umbria is quite lovely and the hotel is a good base to explore perugia, Assisi, Spello etc. Don’t miss having dinner at Lillo Tatini in Panicale. It is close by and a great experience."
Perugia Plaza Hotel
"A decent hotel but personally not worth the price. The bar was constantly closed and we had to ask the front desk just to make a coffee, even over the weekend when you think they would want to make money. Location is no man’s land with some groceries and a highway next to you VERY far from center. WiFi was ok, some issues going out and in. The pool was the highlight as we had it to ourselves for both days. Room cleaning was nice and prompt, what we would expect. Personally both days we woke up with horrible allergies likely from their poor ventilation system. Could not open windows due to a sign from hotel suggesting Beatles would get in seasonally. Not justified for the price, just ok."
Domus Volumnia Country House
"We have occupied the Tania room in 3 for two nights in this small structure at the doors of Perugia. The hotel is very clean, comfortable beds, bathroom is not very spacious. There is a very good breakfast. Parking is reserved inside the courtyard (closed) of the facility. Added value the wellness centre (unproven) and the pool that is surely useful in the summer season. Honest rates. Good!"
Le Cappuccinelle Suites&Spa
"This hotel and spa is a hidden gem! It is located in a amazing spot away from the noise with beautiful facilities and a very spacious room, the spa is just so relaxing and the staff very thoughtful. I totally recommend this place for a getaway or after traveling through Italy to relax and recharge during the route. A true place for wellness."
Borgo Mandoleto - Country Resort & Spa
"Soaking-Up The Umbrian Countryside We spent a very pleasant 3 nights at this small, charming bed & breakfast. The rooms at the Borgo Mandoleto were large and tastefully decorated in a countryside theme. The grounds were beautiful, and there were many places (including the swimming pool) to sit with a coffee or an aperitivo and soak-up the beautiful Umbrian countryside. There is a good restaurant next to the B&B, and several sites [Perugia, La Citta della Pieve, Lago di Trasimeno, and Solemeo (for a wonderful aperitivo)] are within a short drive. Donatella was a gracious hostess who served a nice breakfast (the tortes are not to be missed) with very good English."
Hotel Giò Wine e Jazz Area
"Very good hotel, the breakfast is even better!!! In Italy for so many years, there are few hotels of such high quality"
Posta Donini 1579 | UNA Esperienze
"I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Posta Donini in San Martino in Campo, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The property is stunning, with a perfect blend of historic elegance and modern comforts. The staff is extremely welcoming and professional, always ready to accommodate every request with a smile."
Grifone Hotel
"One of the best hotel in Perugia at affordable prices, I really enjoyed my stay and its well connected to historic center of Perugia and central train and bus station. Definitely will come again 😉 thank you so much "
Rosetta Hotel Perugia Tapestry Collection by Hilton
"I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Rosetta Hilton in Perugia. The management team and staff deserve enormous credit for their caring, professional and genuinely helpful manner towards guests. They were absolutely faultless throughout our stay — accommodating, polite and welcoming at all times. They made us feel completely at home; thoroughly decent people doing a fabulous job. Thank you The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere was helped further by breakfast being served until 11am each morning, which made for a very civilised and unhurried start to the day. We were also very grateful to be allowed a late checkout extension until 2pm, which made our final day far more comfortable and relaxing. The hotel team also arranged a wonderful visit to the nearby Goretti Winery, where my wife and I were warmly welcomed by the charming and extremely knowledgeable Sara and Giulia Goretti, representing the fourth generation of the Goretti family estate. We were served a beautiful traditional Umbrian meal by Giulia, accompanied by the family’s exceptional wines. What made the experience even more special was that this intimate dinner for two was unexpectedly served in the tower room, surrounded by traditional family furniture and history. It created a genuine “wow” moment during our trip and became one of the highlights of our stay. The Hilton team have clearly chosen their local partnerships very well. There were just a couple of minor irritations during the stay, which I suspect may stem more from wider corporate Hilton policies than from the local hotel management itself. • One bottle of water allocated per room for the entire stay felt a little restrictive. Whilst certainly not a deal breaker, charging €4 for additional bottles seemed unnecessary and slightly mean-spirited given the otherwise excellent hospitality. • Tea and coffee facilities in the room did not include milk. I appreciate this may be less common outside the UK! Thankfully, a very kind restaurant waitress provided me with a pot of milk, which kept our supply of English Breakfast tea going throughout the stay. Overall, these were only very minor points within an otherwise excellent stay. In fact, they stood out precisely because the local management and staff were so exceptionally good in every other respect. I do wonder whether some wider corporate Hilton policies may unintentionally hinder the flexibility of the local team. A little more empowerment for the onsite management — who are already doing an outstanding job — would likely resolve these small irritations very easily. Most importantly, however, what we will remember from this trip is the warmth, kindness and professionalism of the Rosetta Hilton team, together with the unforgettable hospitality of the Goretti family. Both contributed hugely to making our visit to Perugia such a special and memorable experience. We enjoyed our time in Perugia so much that we are already planning to return for the Umbria Jazz fes"
Hotel Iris
"Hotel Iris has a charm of old Villa. Excellent location, easy access everywhere in town and near the bus station . The staff specially Armin is so helpful And very kind . Thank you for making my stay a wonderful experience."
WelcHome - Suites -
"Right in the middle of old Perugia, great position. The room was clean and large - lots of it utilised by the large bathtub and sauna. Double sinks were nice, as was the rainwater shower and friendly welcome. We had the double room (#3) with a queen bed but wouldn’t classify it as a suite or apartment as advertised. The kitchen was a small refrigerator, coffee machine, and a double hob - with minimum cutlery and cooking pans. (No oven or microwave). The wash machine was shared with all apartments in a room down the hall - again not as advertised - but modern and efficient. We stayed three nights and our room was never cleaned, clean towels not offered and no replenishment of coffee and tea supplies (which were minimal to start with). It was also quite loud out our window with the restaurant across the lane way - the only night we got undisturbed sleep was when the restaurant was closed on Sunday. At around 140 Euros per night, we felt like our room wasn’t the best value, although we certainly enjoyed staying in the heart of Perugia village."
Residenza il Punto
"Beautiful place and very helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. We wish we could have stayed longer. It is some distance from the centre however we can highly recommended it especially in the summer. Lovely garden and view from the terrace."
Il Castellaro Country House
"Fantastic experience. Grazie mille Paolo and staff for brilliant stay. Great host and fantastic restaurant, room and service. Buy some of their olive oil, it's magnificent. We did and are enjoying it to eat as well as a happy reminder of our stay."
