Xijiang Longtangshan house

This hotel is located in Longtang Miao Village, nestled independently on a mountain outside the village. The drive up can be a bit challenging. The hotel perfectly embodies a 'wild luxury' style, and the room views are impeccable. It's operated by the villagers, meaning the income directly benefits the local community. A staff member will meet you at the hotel parking lot for transfers, and an uncle will help with luggage to your room or the front desk. The hotel's dinner is also excellent; the local rice field fish and river snails were memorable, and the cured pork was absolutely fantastic. Overall, this hotel is a true paradise for relaxation and quiet contemplation. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back.

I visited Xijiang during the Dragon Boat Festival. This inn is conveniently located not far from Xiaobei Gate, tucked away in an alley next to the museum. There aren't many stairs to climb, and it's very close to the main street. Both the hallways and the rooms in the inn looked very clean. Our room had a balcony, though unfortunately, the view was blocked by the building in front. However, the standard room had two 1.5-meter beds, which was perfect for a family stay. The owners of the inn were incredibly warm and hospitable. The owner even came to pick up our luggage when we arrived at Xiaobei Gate. The next day, I felt a bit shy asking him to drop us off again, so we just walked back to Xiaobei Gate ourselves. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

What made my trip to Qianhu Miao Village truly unforgettable was the incredibly warm experience at this hidden gem of a guesthouse. First and foremost, I have to give a shout-out to our butler, Xiao Cheng. His service was truly proactive and thoughtful! Even before we arrived at Miao Village, Xiao Cheng reached out to us, providing detailed directions and important tips. When our navigation ended and we were a bit lost trying to find the guesthouse, he promptly appeared, greeted us warmly, and even escorted us all the way to check-in, saving us a lot of hassle after a long journey. The guesthouse's breakfast was not only photogenic but also delicious 🤤. In the afternoon, enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea on the terrace, watching the vibrant life of Miao Village outside the window, time seemed to slow down. But the most touching detail was undoubtedly the piping hot 'Goodnight Snow Swallow and Tremella Soup' served before bed. After a day of sightseeing, a sip of that sweet and nourishing dessert instantly washed away all the fatigue. Here, service isn't just a process; it's genuine care from the heart. Butler Xiao Cheng and the guesthouse team perfectly define 'feeling at home' with their enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic guesthouse! I don't usually like staying in guesthouses because I always feel the environment and cleanliness are disappointing. This time, however, I wanted to see the night view of the Miao Village, so I had no choice but to stay within the scenic area. I chose two listed guesthouses and compared them before booking Yue She. It certainly didn't disappoint! First, their service was incredibly thoughtful. Even at 9 pm, they sent two staff members to pick us up at the North Gate, help with our luggage, and show us the way. The hotel's exterior is unassuming, but the interior is surprisingly spacious and charming. Sitting on the terrace in my room, I had a panoramic view of the entire Miao Village at night – absolutely amazing! The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable; you could tell the owners had put a lot of thought into it, paying attention to detail. The lovely receptionist was incredibly warm and attentive, the young butler was also very considerate, and the experienced steward truly touched me, helping us carry our largest suitcase up and down the stairs. The breakfast wasn't lavish, but it tasted like home. Overall, I was very satisfied!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Five stars! This was by far the best accommodation on our Xijiang trip, Tianhe Shiguang Homestay is a must-book for everyone! Even before we arrived, the housekeeper proactively sent detailed park entry routes and parking guides, and was incredibly patient with all our questions. As soon as we reached the North Gate, they immediately came to pick us up, even helping us carry several pieces of luggage up the mountain path – it was incredibly thoughtful. The homestay is very close to the observation deck, just a few minutes' walk away, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling area. We slept soundly every night without any noise. The room exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean, with every corner meticulously tidied. The soft furnishings incorporated Miao embroidery elements, creating a wonderful ambiance. The smart home features were very convenient to use. Our balcony offered a direct view of the entire cluster of stilt houses. In the morning, the misty clouds looked like a traditional ink painting, and at night, the layered lights of the village stretched out before us – every photo taken was a masterpiece. The bedding was skin-friendly, the shower water pressure was stable, and the toiletries were of high quality. The freshly cooked rice noodles for breakfast each day were authentic and delicious. The owner thoughtfully shared tips on lesser-known Miao village spots and local specialty restaurants, without any pushy sales tactics. Their demeanor was genuine and gentle. Our entire stay felt like being a guest at a friend's house – so relaxed, with meticulous yet discreet service, without any excessive formality. If you're coming to Xijiang and want to enjoy panoramic views and attentive service, look no further than Tianhe Shiguang. Value for money, environment, and service – all perfect!

I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

The location is excellent, right at the No. 4 covered bridge, offering fantastic views, especially at night. You can take a sightseeing bus from the No. 1 covered bridge to the viewing platform, saving you the trouble of carrying your luggage up the mountain.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and equipped with smart controls, making it very comfortable and modern. It is the same as the picture. They had a lift too which is suitable for seniors and children. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with several parcel collections from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. At the last minute, they even helped purchase a birthday cake for my nephew from the city, which we truly appreciated. The location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. It’s also a great alternative for families who want to explore the area without staying in the Ancient Town — dragging luggage and changing buses there can be challenging. Whenever we were tired, we could simply take a Didi back to the hotel, and it drops you right at the door. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

It was very convenient to take the bus from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport to Xijiang Qianhu Miaozhai Village. The bus stop was at the north gate, and fortunately, the hotel was close to it. After purchasing a ticket at the ticket office, I took the shuttle bus and got off at the village entrance, where the hotel staff personally greeted me. Since it's close to the main road and doesn't require any uphill travel, it's a great place for the elderly or families with children. The view from my room was breathtaking, with a panoramic view of the village. The owner wasn't at the hotel, but she responded immediately via WeChat. When the Wi-Fi in my room on the fifth floor had issues on the first day, he moved me to the sixth floor the next day. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that it was winter, and it rained and the temperature dropped significantly on my visit, making it very cold for two days. The room was large, so even with the heater on all day, it was still cold. I think they need to find a different solution for winter. I had a good two-day stay.

I went during the May Day holiday. The room cost nearly 800 yuan. They said it was renovated in 2026, but I could still see traces of the previous hotel. It just goes to show how expensive it is during holidays. The only good thing was that the balcony really had a panoramic view of the Miao village, which was the only advantage! The cleanliness was so-so, and the disposable toiletries weren't good either. I can only say that the balcony view was worth the price! The breakfast was monotonous.
