Yunxian town is pleasant. Located at the junction two rivers, it has a 'Health park ' and extensive walkways along both sides of the rivers. Surrounded by lofty peaks, it and its environs are great places to while away a few days, and work on your Mandarin speaking and Chinese reading.

Plus, the hotel's rates are budget-friendly, and everything else is pretty good. However, since the hotel is located on a mountain, the facilities are understandably limited. If you're very particular about your accommodation, then I'd suggest staying in Cangyuan County town instead.
