Besides the usual congee, noodles, rice, and Chinese and Western pastries, they even offered many local specialties. Da die Hotelanlage ziemlich in der Mitte der Insel Hailing liegt, kann man mit dem gemieteten Elektroroller an einem Tag in südwestlicher Richtung fahren, um Hotelburgen und Strände, aber auch höher gelegene Aussichtspunkte zu erkunden, an nächsten Tag in nordöstliche Richtung fahren, um gescheiterte Evergrande Eigentumswohnungen, Freizeitstätten und Hotelstädte mit riesigen Außenanlagen z. T. im Verfall zu besichtigen. Weiter nördlich gibt es jedoch einen sehenswerten Mangrovenpark mit angrenzenden Fischerhäfen.
