Because my company arranged for me to work in Sunway Giza for a few days, I rented a single room temporarily to make it easier to go to work. The room’s cleanliness is acceptable, but the smell is terrible extremely bad. I could smell a strong stench the whole time while sleeping, both in the bathroom and in the room. It was so unbearable that I went to a nearby supermarket to buy several deodorizing sprays, but they didn’t solve the problem. Also, the room is only accessible by stairs, and the staff didn’t help carry my luggage upstairs. I accidentally fell and twisted my ankle — but that’s my own carelessness, not their fault. On the bright side, the location is very convenient. There are plenty of food options nearby, as well as supermarkets and cafés.

The jug water heater is broken 😞..tv got RTM channel only. The floor was too slippery and the table got dust. But it is near the MRT and hospital so considered good location strategic👍.

Most dirty hotel ever!!!! They don't even provide toothpaste or toothbrush for you. And the most ridiculous part is they DON'T provide a shower towel unless you ask for it.

As you can see the mosaic already cracked before we get enter the room. This is the safety issues concern.And another issues is i book for standard twin bed, and requested has window. But i got the queen bed and didnt have windows.

1. My 1st room was too noisy due to next door (bank) renovation. After complaing to Trip.com, they moved me to another building. 2. The 2nd room has no TV, the side table lamp was not even installed, wires were dangling out from the wall. 3. I asked my towel be change daily, because after the 1st night / 2nd day, the towel was still damp even after whole day i hang it on the rack. BUT THEY DID NOT CHANGE IT. My towel was only change 2 times after complaining at the reception. 4. Checking out - Since I was at another building, the night before I'm checking out, I call the main building. I told them I'm checking out at 8am and asked them to make sure the reception in my building be ready. BUT NO. I had to call them 3 times. They told me to come to the main building during heavy morning rain. By the 3rd time I scolded them and said, I have told in advance. The buildings is 200 meters apart, there is no way I'm walking in the rain. 5. The reception at my building is not always available. The hotel expect people to call the main building and the staff at the main building expect the customers to go to the main building to sorts things out. RIDICULOUS. 6. The hotel gave kettle, but no coffee given in the room. Drinking water bottle never replenish. House keeping is non existence, I asked my room to be clean but they never did it. The only good thing about the hotel is, its location. Great access to MRT, malls and restaurants.

Very convenient place for me as I use MRT to go to work everyday. No need to worry about what to eat because there are plenty of food shops nearby. Parking is on the street and has to pay MBPJ during daytime. No lift but still acceptable.

hi. so far i stayed here, the service was good, the room was clean, the staff is friendly, near with the shopping malls and easy to get food. i’ll recommend everyone to book this hotel 👍🏻

Overall, it's decent. The location is unbeatable – just steps from the subway station and super convenient for dining. The rooms are a bit on the small side. Those with windows are much better; rooms without windows can feel quite cramped and claustrophobic.

The booking is thru Trip.Com portal We chose her as the place's convenient & good reviews. And we decided to book 3 rooms and write it in the special request arranged all on the same floor and a nice room to us. On the 1st day, the receptionist is unable to communicate well. And realise that the Sovotel @ Kota Damansara 8 Boutique Hotel was no lift. And we checked the booking details on the portal were not really status there. Only status ' Public Area' strikes off the (Evaluator) We have assigned 3 rooms as 226, 227 & 230. After we took the luggage on the 2nd Floor, Once we entered room 230 the Aircon was not functioning properly. We need to go down to ask the receptionist and shift room 226 to 207. And room 230 is just preference of the room then ask for shift to room 208. After all settled down, then realised there is no hairdryer provided, but the room door behind had a card mention the room facilities have hair dryers. And room 227 the cups were chip, soap dispenser at room 207 in the bathroom is spoiled, only give 1 bottle of soap dispenser look like so many people use before. And the room 227 seems long time no body clean up because using our wipe tissue to wipe the side table was all dusk. And open the door the door unable to stay open need to use hand to hold it for all 3 room All above mentioned will attach the picture for your reference. After a night, we check back all the references for booking. Our to room is on the 1st floor and the standard room has a window. Very disappointed and don't know where went wrong is the Trip.com or the hotel never provide proper information to the booking portal. I'm hope to have a management to talk to me & definitely the complain I'm will put on the reviews on the trip.com portal, Google reviews all.

The room are not well clean when we stay there. No housekeeping provided. Not convenient for old people as there is no lift provided and have to carry baggage to go up to the room. Not worth for the money.

Very very poor hygiene. Our room had bed bugs all over our mattress. I got bitten by the bugs a few times before eventually made a direct complaint to the receptionist. At least we able to change to another better and cleaner room. But please keep all the rooms clean for customers to be able to sleep well in your hotel.
