"We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel! ✅ Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the reception staff were warm and welcoming. They also helped us register our car for free parking, which was a great bonus. 🛏️ Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The air conditioning was customisable and worked flawlessly throughout the stay, adding to our comfort. 🧴 All the toiletries were fully stocked and ready to use — a small but thoughtful touch. 🕛 One thing we really appreciated was the 12 PM checkout time, which is later than many other hotels. It gave us extra time to relax and pack without feeling rushed. 🛍️ The location is super convenient — just a 5-minute walk to a large shopping mall, making dining and shopping easy. 🔌 Another highlight was the electric vehicle charging available in the hotel parking, which was exactly what we needed. 💷 Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money with great service and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!"

"Very clean, nicely presented comfortable room. Plentiful hot water and an excellent shower. Breakfast basic but good, plenty of choice. Helpful staff. Air conditioning unit didn’t seem to work. Toilet seat would not stay up unsupported. No shaver socket. Extractor fan not working. Service corridor outside door and staff thoroughfare under window meant that it was less quiet than I’d have liked at times, but still ok. Overall I’d happily recommend, and would stay here again."

"Stayed at the Premier Inn Peterborough North for one night on a Saturday in August, whilst we were visiting friends nearby. Opted for early check-in and upon arrival there was plenty of parking available, remember to input your registration as there are ANPR cameras. The room on the first floor had been recently refurbished and was clean, with lots of space and a bath/shower combination. Returning to the hotel in the evening, there was no noise even though we faced the front towards the Lincoln Road. Didn’t opt for the breakfast at the adjacent Paul Pry, as had seen mixed reviews. However, if you don’t mind a 10 minute drive, Moor Farm Cafe (near Newborough), is highly recommended and they did an excellent breakfast. All round an excellent experience, well done to the team!"

"The hotel is a bit old, the main room is a bit small, and I specifically booked a bigger one, but when I got there it showed that there were no rooms. Later I went to my friend's hotel Delta, which is not far away and the lobby looks good. The price is about the same, and it should be better."

"I went to Peterborough to visit someone dear in hospital and this place isn’t far. It’s also near the shopping centre. Tapas is a nice host. If you don’t mind sharing facilities with other people, this place would be nice for you. The price is also reasonable. It’s more like a home style place. Thank you Tapas for your kind words."

"We booked this hotel as a stopover on the way from Northumberland to Essex The hotel is very tired. When we arrived it was very hot but there was no cooling. With the window open the noise from the adjacent A1 was so bad we had to choose between the noise or unbearable heat We discovered that breakfast was a “to go box” consisting of a small carton of milk to be poured into a cardboard box of cornflakes, a pastry in a packet and a small bottle of water - Useless if you can’t do dairy Possibly the worst hotel we have ever encountered. We left after 15 mins preferring to lose our money and drive a further 3 hours home. We asked for the breakfast boxes as we had paid for them but we didn’t eat them but did drink the smallest ever bottle of water I can only recommend that this place should be avoided. Any alternative you could find would be an improvement "

"What a totally gorgeous place we were so lucky to find. The welcome on arrival was wonderful and everything we needed to know was explained. It's a little corner of heaven. Three days in beautiful surroundings and comfort. Laying on sunbeds around a fantastic pool. We even met another fantastic family and spent such a fun evening sitting under the stars with a glass of wine. We would one hundred per cent recommend River Nene Cottages. The hosts Stephen and Philip have just got it right their welcome and kindness in making sure you are happy is second to none."
