Anantara Mui Ne Resort Reviews

The service was top-notch and exceeded our expectations! We compared several resorts in Mui Ne, and this one has to be the best. It offers everything a five-star hotel should, and we especially loved the beautifully arranged private beach and the huge swimming pool. The only minor downsides were that the shower in the room didn't have a barrier, so the entire bathroom would get wet after showering, and the pillows were a bit too high.

My first trip to Mui Ne was about 20 years ago, and I left with a deep and wonderful impression of its pristine and natural scenery. After many years, I revisited this place for a vacation, only to find the environment incredibly dirty with trash everywhere. While commercial activities have boomed, there's been no proper landscape planning to protect the natural ecosystem. Anantara Mui Ne Resort is the only shining pearl in this once dreamy seaside destination that is gradually losing its charm.

Everything was great, the staff were very enthusiastic, and the food was delicious. 🥰🥰🥰

It was a perfect vacation. This was a family trip with our 5-year-old child. There were fruit flies in the breakfast restaurant, and they were landing on the fruit. Some action needs to be taken, I think. Other than that, it was really, really good. Friendly staff, quick service, and the special room cleaning were excellent. We had a wonderful stay. I was debating between the Centara Mirage Hotel's waterpark for my child and the Anantara, which I wanted to visit, but there's no comparison. A vacation is always best spent wherever mom wants to go ^^

We loved everything, especially the hotel grounds and the pool. The rooms were clean. However, it's clear the hotel is due for a renovation. Otherwise, everything was great.

Hotel is smaller, but beautiful. Room was nice as well, a bit pricey for what it is. Elevators are old, small and easy phones don’t really work. Waiting staff is kind, especially the pool staff. Manager at the desk isn’t friendly, I was trying to clarify something and while asking she’s just shaking her head no the whole time not listening to my question. Kids club was meh- Food is expensive, but not very good. Overall I would stay here again if I had too, but not my top choice.

This beachside hotel is a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City and has its own private beach. Out of all the hotels lining the Mui Ne coast, this one is, in my opinion, the best. It's also perfectly located, just about a ten-minute scooter ride from the fishing village.

Absolutely terrible. We booked a specific room type and even noted our child's age, but when we arrived, it was full of tricks. They gave us two key cards and took us to a basic room, forcing us to upgrade. When I pointed out it wasn't the deluxe room we booked, they got upset and put us in the most remote corner of the hotel, trying to get us to upgrade again. Being in a foreign country and unable to contact Trip.com made the experience even worse.

The weighing scale was badly rusted, and the toilet seat had extensive yellow staining (I can't even describe the color, it was so gross I didn't want to take a picture). But the worst part was that the bedding had old bloodstains and six or seven small holes... I don't understand how a 5-star resort can have such poor quality control. Many details at the spa were also much worse than in Thailand... Seriously avoid this place if you're traveling with friends or family.

This is probably the only place in Mui Ne with five-star service. The beach is also quite clean, and the staff are incredibly responsive to every request. However, there are fewer entertainment activities, so it's perfect for just relaxing and doing nothing, haha.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful beach and extremely helpful staff.

The resort isn't huge, but the one-bedroom pool villa rooms are excellent, and the service is incredibly attentive. Basic five-star services like luggage assistance upon arrival/departure, turn-down service, and immediate room cleaning after guests leave are all impeccably handled. The bedding is spotless. The hotel beach is clean, and the hotel's location is also quite good.

The service here was truly excellent 👍. We got welcome drinks and a complimentary massage during check-in. Our butler, Hong, was warm and professional! The location is also quite good, and the whole vibe is pretty chill. However, for one of Mui Ne's two best hotels, I found the room facilities a bit dated, and it might not be great value for money during peak season. Even if domestic hotels in China are a lower tier or price point than those in Vietnam, their toothbrushes, combs, razors, hairdryers, bedding, and towels are much better quality. China's manufacturing of these items is truly excellent and inexpensive. While Vietnam's processing industry is booming, it still has a ways to go. Perhaps it's because I didn't book a villa (since I was only staying one night). Compared to the pool villa I stayed in for two nights at Centara, I still prefer Centara's villa types. But Anantara's service is better and more personalized; Centara had too many kids and was too noisy, and the English proficiency wasn't as good as at Anantara.

Very clean, and the service was warm and friendly.
