Phi Phi Anita Resort

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. 1. **Environment:** The location is about a 15-minute walk from the pier, which is quite remote. The entire hotel has no lobby, no main entrance, and no security. There are two bars at the front and back of the hotel that blast music until 3:30 AM. Anyone considering staying here should seriously reconsider. 2. **Safety Concerns:** The bar finally closed at 3:30 AM, allowing us to sleep. However, at 4:30 AM, a group of drunk people started kicking room doors downstairs, one after another. The noise echoed throughout the entire hotel for a full 10 minutes, and no one intervened. As I mentioned, the hotel has no main entrance; it's just off a street corner, so anyone can come and go freely. If you're traveling with children or as a solo female, absolutely do not stay here. 3. **Service Attitude:** I arrived at 11 AM and requested to check in. The front desk said check-in wasn't until 2 PM, so I waited in the lounge. Another Chinese couple was also waiting for their room. Meanwhile, about 10 or so people from various European and American countries checked in one after another. The staff would hand them their room cards and immediately escort them to their rooms. If everyone was treated equally, I wouldn't mind waiting. But there was a clear double standard – fawning over Westerners and showing disdain for Asian guests. Their servile behavior was disgusting. 4. **Malicious Delay of Check-in Time:** At 1:20 PM, I asked the front desk again, and they repeated that the room wasn't clean and I'd have to wait until 2 PM. So I waited until 2 PM, but I still couldn't check in on time. I finally checked in at 2:20 PM. Their rules only seem to apply to guests and have no bearing on themselves. 5. **Room Hygiene and Environment:** The room was significantly different from the pictures. The balcony was very narrow, barely enough for one adult to move around, and it had no glass railing, making it easy for phones to drop. There were cigarette ashes on the bed, the spring mattress was sunken, and the air conditioner was incredibly loud. But even its noise couldn't drown out the booming music from the bars at night.

Came to Phuket, and spent the last two days on Phi Phi Island at this hotel. They did arrange for someone to pick us up from the pier, but the hotel was incredibly noisy at night! Right outside the door is the Pirate Boat bar, which stays open until 3 AM every day, and it's deafeningly loud. The music just pounds. Also, I don't know how hotels in Thailand count occupancy, but we were on the first floor by the pool, and upstairs, five or six foreign lads were crammed into one room. They'd be loudly drinking and chatting on their balcony at night – I even took a picture of their balcony, it was full of empty bottles and cans. Then they'd be laughing it up with other foreign girls late at night, and they even pushed two beds together to sleep, making a huge dragging noise. How are you supposed to sleep with that? Earplugs were useless. Honestly, whoever stays here is in for a terrible time!!!

Highly recommended! We had a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious, and we had direct pool access right outside our door. The service was excellent; someone met us at the pier to take us to the hotel and helped us with our luggage to the room. They also promptly assisted us when we booked the wrong room and even helped us with the TV when we couldn't figure it out.
