Phi Phi Ba Kao Bay Resort

The owner was very kind. Right outside, there were tour desks, shops, and restaurants. We truly enjoyed the island. The owner even helped us figure out how to get to the pier for our departure. They were very helpful, thank you! If your main goal is to explore the island, then this place should be fine. Getting to the hotel was a bit challenging. After arriving at Tonsai Pier from Phuket mainland, we had to negotiate with a longtail boat to take us to a beach near the hotel. However, there was no jetty at that beach, so our suitcases were transferred by a small boat, and we had to walk to the beach. It was a rather unusual experience. From that beach, it was about a 15-minute walk along a flat path to the hotel, but feeling tired, we opted for a nearby motorbike taxi.

The shower needs renovating. It's a shame that the boats charge 1500 BT for two people to get to the center, and even if you want to walk (which takes an hour), you still have to pay to pass the viewpoint. Basically, you have to pay regardless, so it's probably better to just stay closer to the center.

Location-wise, it's on the other side of the island, which makes booking excursions a bit inconvenient. Plus, there's a mosque nearby, so be prepared for a 5 AM wake-up call.

The sea and beach were terrible; it felt like being in prison for 5 days. Getting to the center is either a 2-hour walk up the mountain or by sea, which is quite expensive. I don't recommend it.
