The hotel was good. We lived on A7 room, bear by the lobby and the beach. There were not so many guests, most of people came here only for one day and leave the beach at the evening. Breakfast was good, serving on a terrace. Beach was... normal. Not so many people as at Phuket. There are enough deckchairs, but some of them are "permanently occupied". People leave their towels and never come back, staff make nothing to fix it. We saw some monkey one day, they were looking for something to eat in the thashcan. Hotel is good for it's money, but not much things to do around. To do something interesting you have to ride to Tonsai on a boat-taxi for 100-150 bat.

Great location, and the small bungalows and houses look quite nice. However, the front area near the beach, including the pool and restaurant, wasn't very well-maintained and was partly dirty. The pool water was cloudy and not very inviting, so I didn't use it. I had a 'new room,' which sounds good, but it wasn't. It was inadequately furnished – nowhere to put luggage, no chair... and it was very unclean. It seemed nothing had been cleaned after construction, as protective plastic was still stuck everywhere. The wardrobe was just a rail where the kettle and other items were also placed. At least they quickly brought me more hangers when I asked. The only really good thing was the new sun loungers on the balcony. My room wasn't cleaned, and when I inquired, I was told I had to leave my room key at reception for that. Seriously? I've never encountered that before, and it would have been helpful if they had informed me. Breakfast was very basic, and I didn't like the coffee. However, the à la carte dinner was delicious.

First, the pros: the white sand beach right outside the hotel is beautiful, and you can snorkel there, but be mindful of the many boats passing by for safety. Now for the cons: (1) The room has 180-degree floor-to-ceiling white glass windows, offering absolutely no privacy. (2) The air conditioning in the room is incredibly loud. Even on the lowest setting, the fan speed is very strong and blows directly onto the bed, so I had to turn it off every night to sleep. (3) The pillows offer zero support. (4) The front desk staff were completely unapproachable and just glared or pointed when asked questions, never speaking a word. (5) I stayed two nights and my room was never cleaned. This hotel is on par with a 300 RMB hotel in China, and definitely cannot be called a resort. Don't be fooled by the name. I was a huge sucker who paid 2730 RMB for two nights, and I will absolutely never return.

I had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

Myself and 3 friends booked to stay here whilst travelling Thailand. Upon arrival we noticed that our room looked nothing like the pictures shown on the app for a standard room. Evidently, these pictures were actually of a superior room therefore deceiving us as we thought we’d booked the room displayed on the picture. After asking to move room only 2 out of 4 of us were able to move leading to mass disappointment. Secondly, the rooms feel very outdated and could do with some modernisation E.G plywood ceilings and scratched mirrors. Finally, the last thing I would warn people is this location requires you to get a long boat to the centre of phi phi and at night the longboats can be very sketchy as one night our driver nearly totalled an individual kayaking. However on a positive note the hotel is in a beautiful location right next to the beach.

You pay for the location. The view was stunning however the facilities were limited with the pool virtually unusable while we were there and room was incredibly dated. We had no towels on arrival or toilet roll. I’d suggest staying in the long beach area if you’re looking for a sanctuary looking over maya bay away from the chaos of the centre however would recommend staying elsewhere
