Phi Phi Banyan Villa

Overall, not a bad hotel. The rooms are a bit worn, but generally clean. We got a relatively quiet room, free of insects and odors. The balcony overlooked the pool. The pool was clean, but we didn't use it since we came for the sea. Breakfast was just okay, a 3 out of 5. The staff was friendly. The only drawback is that the luggage storage is only for a couple of hours; they don't allow long-term storage!

This was my worst and most traumatic hotel stay: - dirty pool - terribly old and dirty room - cockroaches and lizards in the room (the staff couldn't handle them) - terrible smell in the room and from the air conditioner (mold), which the staff couldn't handle either - the air conditioner was directly above the bed, blowing directly onto the sleeping person - terrible decor, including the room: some old, yellowed artificial flowers, very dusty and dirty curtains - when leaving the room, the view was of a garbage dump, the air conditioners in the back of the restaurant - even the room key was dirty and rusty - tons of dust and dirt in the bathroom - the toilet was permanently stained with some terrible stains - holes in the walls and floor - I asked the staff three times for help and a room change, and they told me it wasn't possible. However, the lady at the reception desk in the evening replied that it would be best if I took a picture of the cockroaches and lizards. They'll start looking. The front desk staff is very rude and indifferent. - The breakfast is terrible, the selection is very poor, the area is dirty, and the coffee is undrinkable. - The WiFi is very weak and unsecure. Avoid this place, as it will be a terrible stay and a ruined mood.
