Penn's View Hotel Philadelphia

The hotel must have a lot of history. The room was huge and had a great view – a pleasant surprise! I accidentally broke a glass, and the staff were super nice. They immediately asked if I was hurt and said not to worry about the broken glass.

First, there were two obvious stains on the blankets, which startled me a bit when I tried to lie down. The carpet in the room, with its dark blue background, clearly hadn't been cleaned and contained a lot of light-colored dust and trash. Second, there was no bottled water in the room, and the entire hotel had no water dispensers. The only source of drinking water was a vending machine. Because the hotel is quite close to a main road, the noise of passing cars easily reached the room. The front desk staff were very polite and attentive when helping with luggage storage after check-out. Aside from the stains on the blankets on the wall, the rest of the room was relatively clean.

The room was clean. The amenities were minimal, but I was able to relax even though I was staying alone. I would definitely like to stay again. I sometimes stay in hotels in Philadelphia when I need quiet time to concentrate, and this was the best room I have ever stayed in. I will definitely stay again.
