"We inadvertantly booked Trip.com instead of Hilton directly as I always do. 2 rooms. When we arrived, one room was ready but the other was not. They told us to come back closer to 2pm. We did. Wasn't ready. Come back closer to 3pm, and we were told, "it may be closer to the guaranteed time of 4pm." We had reservations and that would push us. However, we came back at 3 and were told that "because you're third party....." Everyone around us was getting a key but our room wasn't ready. We were made to feel like third class citizens because we were "third party." I wasn't given a chance to show my Hilton Honors number because we were "third party." Well, the "guaranteed" time of 4pm came and went, and we were getting anxious about missing our reservation. At 4:20 the representative went to a manager and got some sort of waiver but explained the room was not the one we paid for. (Two queens) but instead it was 1 queen and beside the elevator. By now we were so late we just went with it. We wasted more than 3 hours in the lobby, were made to feel inferior because we were "third party" and we had a substandard room when we paid for better. Bad experience, made worse by bad policy, insensitivity of representative by continued bexplanation that the reason everyone else was getting their room because we were "third party", apparently a form of low class in Hilton. Well, I'm a Hilton Honors member for decades, and while we made a mistake because you sold rooms to a third party and we were usurped online, our mistake ruined a perfectly good visit."

"The hotel is excellently located for exploring downtown Philly—just steps away from major attractions, restaurants, and public transit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-priced, with all the essentials I needed for a short stay. While the space—especially the bathroom—was on the smaller side, it was functional. The only major downside was an unexpected fire alarm at 4am, which was quite disruptive. Overall, a solid option if location and value are your top priorities."

"Date of incident: December 7, 2025. I arrived with a paid reservation and confirmation under my name, and offered to provide my photo ID and payment card. The front desk refused to check me in. They told me to leave without giving any room or assistance, leaving me outside at night in cold weather with my partner. The way I was treated felt discriminatory because I was judged for my accent when I tried to explain my reservation. I showed proof of payment, ID, and confirmation number, yet they still refused service without any valid reason. I had to book another hotel the same night and received no service at all. Guests should not be denied service or treated differently based on language or how they speak. I do not recommend this hotel."

"I simply cannot say enough about this center city hotel. From the first line knowledgeable, friendly receptionist(s) on both shifts; actually EVERY staff member was friendly (I really wish I'd written down names); to the cleanliness of all aspects of the hotel to include the rooms and especially the bathroom area with the DOVE soap/shampoo/body wash, good water pressure, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave. And last but certainly not least.......the breakfast..... from the 1 minute pancake maker to hot everything else including fat biscuits, to the cold breakfast beverage(s) machine and good coffee. In/out Parking co-located with the hotel. My second year in a row. I'm impressed. and we'll be back. Keep up the good work."

"The location was good I hotel amenities was good but just be mindful of when you do go because they do have a pool and when I went it was a whole lot of kids so wasn’t able to get in that night but got up around 8 and got in it was nice. They had complimentary breakfast it was ok. Overall my stay was good."
