The environment is very clean, tidy, and upscale. The staff are all very friendly and always smile and greet guests, which creates a really good overall impression. Plus, it's very close to the attractions, just a short taxi ride away.

I've stayed at this hotel before and received excellent service; everything was perfect. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience during my last stay. My girlfriend was waiting for me at the bar on the 49th floor while I was in a meeting before dinner. A chef, apparently the bartender said he was Italian, passed by several times staring at my girlfriend and making her uncomfortable. This is outside the Shangri-La standards; I stay at various hotels in the chain weekly and this has never happened before. It's regrettable!
