Champs Elysees Hotel & Suites

The room was spotless, and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable—just the right firmness with great lower back support. The welcome drink was delicious, and the breakfast was amazing! It was so hearty and extensive that it felt like a full meal. The staff were all so warm and attentive; they even helped with our luggage and held umbrellas for us in the rain, which was such a touching gesture.

Champs Elysees Hotel & Suites is located on the charming 240th Street, conveniently close to major attractions and tuk-tuks, making transportation incredibly easy. Even arriving past 1 AM, staff enthusiastically helped with luggage, check-in, and offered a welcome drink. The most memorable aspect of my entire stay was the exceptionally high service standard of all the staff members – the breakfast was delicious, and staff would proactively ask about coffee preferences and deliver it to our table. When riding the elevator, staff would even cancel their own floor to let guests exit first. On the rooftop, Ms. Lakseka thoughtfully brought us water even when we weren't ordering anything. The room was very spacious, the air conditioning worked great, and the rooftop also featured a swimming pool and a terrace with night views. I had a very comfortable week-long stay, thanks to the dedicated service of all the staff.

Upon arrival, the hotel staff were incredibly attentive, helping us with our suitcases from the car and opening doors for us. Perhaps it was a spontaneous gesture, but they offered us mocktails and wet towels, just like in the pictures. The room was exactly as depicted in the hotel's photos – spacious and thankfully, no dust mites on the bed. The separate toilet and bath were a definite plus. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be the weak airflow of the hairdryer provided by the hotel, so those who care about that might want to bring their own. We stayed as a couple, and while there was a desk, there was only one movable chair, which made eating in the room a bit inconvenient. So, having a portable chair would have been handy.

The shower in the bathroom was broken. The bedsheets had many black spots. I booked a king-sized room, but it turned out to be half of a suite, with only a thin partition in between. There were gaps at the top and bottom, allowing light and sound through, making it impossible to rest well. The mattress was good, but the pillows were very uncomfortable, and the duvet was of the lowest quality. I really don't understand why they would "add a dog's tail to a sable coat" [meaning: spoil something good by adding something inferior].

Extremely clean with a rich breakfast selection. My favorite part was sitting at the rooftop bar at night, enjoying a drink and the panoramic city views.

Very new hotel, conveniently located, with a lovely pool and gym. Breakfast is simple and pleasant, and the front desk staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.
