Ayothaya Riverside Hotel

It’s like my second home every time I visit Ayutthaya. So peaceful and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

It’s always about the location, location, location. The hotel is very close to Ayutthaya Rail Station and it takes only a 5 minute walk. As the name of the Riverside hotel it overlooks the Pasak River and the view from my room is simply breathtaking. I think if the hotel can improve some facilities for instance providing slippers or body lotions it will certainly give a positive impression to the customers. But these drawbacks are compensated by the staff team for their hospitality and service. They are friendly, professional and willing to help. I feel welcomed and I am grateful to the staff such as Stamp, Ban, Hum, May, Kam and so on. I will come back to stay this hotel in the future.

Staff very kind and helpful. Room needed updating a bit but was clean and tidy bed was comfortable .The view was over the river .Train station a 5-10 min ealk .Would stay there again

The location is great, 3 minutes walk from train station. The hotel look shabby and may need some renovation. The cleanliness inside the room is good. Amenities are sufficient. Sad thing is the hotel rooms do not face parallel to the river but perpendicular. Which means you won’t see sun set from the citadel side. Services are good. However, room may need to improve regards sound protection. Could hear dogs barking all night even I stayed on 7th floor. Aircon in the room kept making noise. May need to check.

The hotel is located very close to Ayutthaya's train station. It also has a large parking lot out front in case guests arrive with their own transport. The rooms were comfortable, well appointed and clean, but were in need of maintenance and repairs. In that respect, they were slightly overpriced for what you got. Since we stayed during the tourist off-season, occupancy was low. Probably as a result of that, hotel services were very limited. For instance, the hotel restaurant was only open for breakfast but shut during the rest of the day. Hence, no room service was available. But that was not a big issue as far as we were concerned, as we opted to have all our meals in town anyway. The big veranda overlooking the river bank was closed as well, but it was possible to buy drinks right in a 7-Eleven store right next to the hotel and consume them on the veranda. Sone of Ayutthaya's attraction were just a short drive away, although a taxi ride is required to reach the main sites.
