I was misled by the high ratings on Trip.com. This hotel really isn't great, except for its good location and the complimentary one-time airport transfer. The room isn't big, and there's a kitchen area that takes up space but isn't very useful. The shower water seems to be solar-heated; in the morning, it's lukewarm at best. There's a nice bathtub, but it's practically unusable because the water temperature is too low for a bath. For breakfast (I arrived right at 6:30 AM when they started serving), they didn't even put out serving spoons or tongs until I asked, and the variety was incredibly sparse. I had pre-booked an airport transfer for my departure, and thankfully I reconfirmed the night before, otherwise, I wouldn't have known they hadn't booked it for me at all. All in all, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing.

I stayed one night at Solaro Hotel & Spa - Sunset Town Phu Quoc, and the overall experience was excellent. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Phu Quoc. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. You can drive right up to the entrance, making drop-offs, pick-ups, and luggage handling very easy. It's also very close to the cable car station – just a short two-step walk, about three minutes away. This is incredibly convenient for anyone planning to take the cable car to Hon Thom Island. Another major highlight is the hotel's rooftop, which is a popular spot for watching fireworks. As a guest, you can go straight up to the roof to enjoy the fireworks without having to go out and search for a viewing spot. The view and experience are fantastic, which is a huge bonus. My family stayed in a three-bedroom suite on the fifth floor. The space was very spacious, perfect for a family or a group. The room also offered a direct view of the fireworks. The room facilities were quite comprehensive, with a washing machine and dryer, which is ideal for family travelers. The only minor issue was a slight leak from the air conditioner in one of the rooms, but other than that, we didn't encounter any significant problems, so the overall stay was very satisfactory. I'd especially like to thank two hotel staff members, Stella and Jessica. During our stay, they provided my family with a lot of help and care. Their service was incredibly warm and attentive. Since we were traveling with a baby, they were particularly friendly towards our little one, which made us feel very welcome while traveling abroad. They helped us with calling taxis and resolving various small issues during our stay, truly making our trip much more convenient. Many thanks to Stella and Jessica for their warm hospitality and care! The hotel also offers Chinese-speaking service, which is very convenient for Chinese tourists. Overall, whether it's the location, the spacious rooms, the rooftop fireworks viewing experience, or the staff's service attitude, everything left a great impression on us. If I ever return to Phu Quoc, I would be very willing to stay here again and would recommend it to other Chinese friends traveling to Phu Quoc, especially those with babies or families.

The hotel's SKY BAR offers an excellent view, providing a clear panorama of the Sunset Town, cable cars, and the clock tower. It's a fantastic spot to watch the sunset in the evening and enjoy the fireworks at night. Of course, a sea-view room with a balcony would offer an even more immersive fireworks experience. Coincidentally, it was my husband's birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a small cake and decorated the room. These warm details were truly heartwarming 👍. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

As a Diamond member, I feel obligated to provide an honest review. First, regarding cleanliness: on the first day of my stay, I found a long hair on the floor, which clearly indicates that the room hadn't been vacuumed and cleaned properly. The hotel's glass windows also seemed uncleaned, as I had to open the window to see the fireworks outside. The hotel's location is relatively close to the cable car station, but there are no other dining options nearby. The most serious issue occurred during checkout. The hotel staff claimed we had taken two hand towels and asked us to check our luggage. This was incredibly disappointing. I stayed for two days; on the first day, the housekeeper provided hand towels, but not on the second. I assumed the housekeeper simply forgot to restock them and hadn't planned to pursue the matter. However, at checkout on the second day, they asked us to check our luggage, politely stating that we might have taken them by mistake, but it was clear they suspected us of stealing. This is absolutely unacceptable. Do your housekeepers not have a checklist when tidying rooms? Do they not verify inventory? I always tip, so why do they remember to take the tips but forget to replace the towels? This immediately made me feel very uncomfortable. Furthermore, the soundproofing in the hotel rooms is terrible. I could hear the opening and closing of doors in adjacent rooms, noise from upstairs and downstairs, and even motorcycles on the street. In conclusion, I do not recommend this hotel.

The place is fairly new so it’s clean. The noise isolation is ok but when we can hear noises when people are opening and closing the doors. Breakfast has a nice variety and you can order hot eggs and noodles which I really liked it. It’s a little bit far from the sunset town vui fest, but you can request the receptionist to call a buggy for you, which cost 10k per pax. I booked the fireworks and sunset sea view, if possible you ask them to reserve the high floor instead of the lower one because the lower one has a balcony and you have to walk to the balcony to view the fireworks. Can’t see the sunset tho.

Very close to where the fireworks are set off. The bed was super comfortable 😌, and the breakfast was good 👍🏻. I highly recommend the pho; the soup was incredibly fresh and sweet, I drank every last drop. It's also very convenient to walk from the hotel to other places, but you can take a buggy 🛺 (for a fee) which only operates within Sunset Town. Finally, the hotel was incredibly thoughtful and helped arrange a free transfer to another hotel 👏👏👏.

The hotel is simple and clean, and the location is convenient. The service attitude is very good. To be honest, they really need to improve their breakfast. It's not diverse and not tasty at all. A hotel where even the breakfast isn't fresh and lacks quality? I definitely won't stay here a second time.

Opened this year, so it's definitely super clean and tidy! The bedding and towels were also very clean, which was great~ The rooftop pool had clean water and wasn't crowded, which was a plus! I mentioned it was our 3rd anniversary in advance, and they decorated the room beautifully for us~ The service is also top-notch!!
