Island Lodge

This hotel is cozy and quiet, perfect for escaping the city noise and enjoying nature. It has a peaceful and serene atmosphere; no loud parties, shouting, and the pool area is always tranquil. We chose a room with a pool view, which was very convenient – just a couple of steps and you're on a sun lounger. Housekeeping is daily. The room is fully equipped with a safe, TV, refrigerator (it chills very well), hairdryer, etc. There's enough breakfast for everyone, but don't expect a huge spread since it's more like a village guesthouse than a 5-star hotel. Be prepared to hear birds singing and geckos chattering. There's a pond on the property, and you can get a massage. If you see the dog and cat, feed them – they're friendly and were with us throughout our stay. It's an excellent hotel for a relaxed getaway, just like staying at grandma's house in the village. You can rent a scooter at the hotel or borrow a bicycle for free to get around.

The hotel itself is lovely, a peaceful place with a lot of charm. It's about a 20-25 minute walk to the beach, or 5 minutes by scooter. However, the staff are not at all welcoming or smiling; it's quite cold. Also, the restaurant food is good but not very varied – be prepared to eat the same side dishes, even for breakfast.

Cool hotel with an island vibe. Several bungalows around a pool, and there are palm trees with coconuts on the property. Good breakfasts too.

Beautiful, picturesque bungalows nestled in a real tropical jungle. Wonderful hosts, delicious breakfasts, and a lovely, clean pool.
