M Hotel Phu Quoc

Excellent room design and perfect location. Staff are very helpful and attentive, unlike the terrible service at Novotel Resort (although this hotel's facilities are a bit small, the service is satisfying and thoughtful. Don't be fooled by the similarly priced Novotel brand and their extremely poor service). For a similar price, I would definitely recommend M hotel. They don’t have a fancy breakfast, but it's still good enough to enjoy. Keep up the great work 👍🏻

As all the sea-view rooms were booked, I could only reserve the cheapest city-view room, which was indeed much more affordable. 1️⃣ Pros: Located in the central core area, with convenient geographical location. It's within walking distance to the night market, and there are many massage parlors along the street, such as the popular LUA SPA. Breakfast offers pool and sea-view seating. 2️⃣ Cons: I booked the cheapest room type, which was only 15 square meters and very cramped. However, the room's space utilization design was quite good. 3️⃣ Highlights: None discovered yet (I suppose you need to stay in a sea-view room for a better experience). 4️⃣ Complaints: The pool was not clean, with many debris and even insects on the surface. I didn't see anyone using the pool, so it seemed to serve more as a decoration.

The breakfast was amazing! I had such a relaxing time enjoying it. The view from the pool is breathtaking, and I loved that it wasn't crowded♪ I would definitely love to stay here again. It's super close to the night market, with plenty of shopping and massage options nearby. Such a convenient location!

The hotel's location is pretty good, not far from the airport, about 15-20 minutes away. The room hygiene was very clean, and the staff were polite. Breakfast was just average with limited choices. The hotel is located in the middle of the island, so it takes about 30 minutes to get to either the North or South Island. If you choose to stay here, you'll need to split your exploration of the North and South into two separate days. There are many massage shops near the hotel, and several seafood restaurants, but all of them are a bit pricey, so keep that in mind.

The scenery is beautiful, but if you're a germaphobe or used to staying in five-star hotels, please don't book this place. It's very damp and has a strong musty smell. However, I have to say the service is genuinely excellent, and the staff are very friendly.

The room was spacious and comfortable to stay in. There's a Tira restaurant right across the street and a Bingsan next door, so two meals were easily taken care of! I asked if there were any special services for my child's birthday, and they prepared a beautiful cake during breakfast, which made my child very happy. The shuttle bus service was excellent, but I was a bit surprised when it stopped at another accommodation without any prior notice to pick up two more guests. Still, we arrived on time.
