Tucked down an alleyway the rooms open straight into the road, close to the beach and plenty of restaurants nearby

NB! This review is for this hotel's restaurant, not the hotel's accommodation. We went to eat at this hotel's restaurant and chose it because it started to rain heavily as we walked past it. I think this was the worst meal in a restaurant among my dozens of trips to Thailand, and it was very unexpected and sad, because Thailand is a country where you can usually have very delicious food. The papaya salad was seasoned with some very strange tasting sauce and did not look fresh at all. The fish tasted like mud. In addition to everything, it became clear only when paying that the price of the fish is indicated in the menu for 500 gr, and since it was 1 kg of fish, the price was twice as expensive as in the menu. The papaya shake was very watery and tasteless. The only good thing was fresh coconut, but here the only part of the local cuisine was making a hole in it.

I did not stay in the hotel but i had my dinner at the restaurant. First of all, i must admit that it was my fault for not checking the price upfront when ordering fried egg which is not on the menu. It was only a sunny side up fried egg, yet it cost THB100 each. We told the restaurant that we could not accept this ridiculous price as we had ordered 3 fried eggs for THB300. Please note that there is 10% service charge on top too. The restaurant then changed to THB50 for 1 egg, still it was not acceptable. Finally the restaurant put only 2 eggs on the bill for THB100, the final price we paid althought it is still too much for fried egg in my opinion.

The hotel gives the impression of a cheap place to stay. The lighting in the room is very dim and the decor is shabby. Visited the hotel cafe. This cafe cannot be called. The atmosphere is very untidy, the menu selection is small, the prices are high. We ordered pizza - expensive, not tasty, sour. They asked for two glasses. Paid the cost of the pizza without looking at the receipt. A non-Thai man immediately came running and started screaming. It turned out that for the empty glasses they gave us they included a 10 percent service charge. I have never seen anything like this in Thailand during my 7 vacations. Walk past this hotel and the cafe next to it.
