Centara Kata Resort Phuket Reviews

Have to download an app for all communication with front desk, it’s very convenient to book free daily activities on app, various classes throughout the week, we booked Thai boxing class twice, Thai language, mini Thai dance, enjoy a good time. We took the Friday BBQ night cabaret show, see the pamphlet and see what we got. Though majority is Russians, they are nice and quiet, their children are very well behaved.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, the 3 different pools.. is great, and it made our stay very comfortable. The resort itself is cozy and well-located in Kata, just a short walk to the beach. The surroundings were convenient with easy access to local massage parlors, shops, eateries, and transport. The room was average. Extremely dull with inadequate lighting.

Excellent! It has two very large swimming pools with slides. The breakfast at the restaurant is incredibly rich and the service is warm and polite. There's also a shuttle bus to Kata Beach.

A bit old resort from a famous local Brand, but facilities still ok

The hotel needs money spending on it, it's run down, our stone bannisters on our room were broken (not safe for children), and general upkeep. The Staff were very friendly and helpful though and the pools were nice.

It was a very pleasant time in this hotel. The staff is super friendly, the room was clean and there was everything we needed including mini-kitchen. The breakfast was good but I would add some hot porridge for children, there were only different kinds of muesli with the cold milk.

I’m very impressed with the front desk team, the front desk manager, and my housekeeper. I felt very welcome throughout my stay. I would also like to compliment all the staff. The hotel has a great location and excellent service. I would love to come back again.

The hotel is good overall, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there were a few issues during my stay. The washbasin in the room had some problems, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the room was located far from the reception area, and I had to take a shuttle bus to get there, which made it less convenient when going back and forth. With a few improvements, this could be a great place to stay.

The kids loved it and had a great time, and the service was good too.

The staff are so nice and warm-welcome. I forgot the yean there and staff was very supportive. I’ll comeback.

Good location near Kata night market and walking street. There are three swimming pools and hours are reasonable. The room is clean although the facilities are outdated. There are no electrical outlets near any bed side. This is probably the least preferred Centara among all Centaras where we have stayed. The worst experience was breakfast. Not enough food as 50% food containers is empty. We asked the service people to fill them up. First, they responded to us to wait, then 30 minutes later, the containers were still empty. We at least asked three times within 30 minutes, finally, they admitted that they ran out of food, and we have up our breakfast. It would be very difficult for us to return to that particular Centara.

Family friendly hotel. Kids enjoyed the pools & playground. The room is spacious & clean. Breakfast is ok. My kids are very happy with this hotel.

The water pressure is a bit low, no lift and the staircase area has no cover. Other than the two points mentioned above, everything else was great, especially very friendly for children. I would stay here again on my next trip to Phuket

What we enjoyed most of our stay was how well treated we were by the staff and our kids had so much fun with all the activities the hotel Offered daily. This hotel is really family orientated to give the best experience for the entire family. The breakfast was very good and for the kids a special table was set with everything they like in plates and cups themed for boys and girls. Special buffet nights are offered with local dances to entertain. The location is perfect, very close to restaurants, the beach and massages. We will definitely return.
