Popeyes Hostel, Coffeeshop & Beer Bar

This facility is the worst. Even though I had made a reservation, I was asked to lay out a futon and sleep in the lobby because the room was full. There were many people like me sleeping in the lobby, and there were really few places for me to sleep. People were arguing in the lobby and it was so loud that I couldn't sleep at all. There were mosquitoes in the lobby and I requested bug spray but was treated very badly. This is the first time I've ever been treated like this, so I want my accommodation fee refunded. The signboard on the front also has a different hotel name, so I think some people can't find the facility. It's creepy in a dimly lit facility in a dark arcade. Being close to the beach is a plus, but you won't be able to sleep so you'll be wasting your day.

Unfortunately, the location is the only decent thing about this hostel... The rooms and facilities are outdated and falling apart. Half of the showers didn't work, the bathrooms were dirty, the beds were loud, and there was zero atmosphere at all. I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely little coffee shop/hostel situated in a quiet alley lined with shops selling all sorts of nice stuff. Well located only 3 min walk to beach and 10 mins to major party locations. Chilled stoner vibes whilst also being respectful of those who don’t smoke. Rooms are clean and facilities are nice. Staff lovely, breakfast available for extra $4. Can’t fault this place. Patong is obviously a night life area so don’t come here expecting an 8pm bedtime. Fireworks into the the night which didn’t bother me as I knew what I was getting into.

Came with 2 other friends and had an amazing stay here, really friendly staff felt very at home. Very chill vibe, cheap drinks and the perfect social smoking spot. Location was ideal as well, just a few streets down from Bangla road. Defo recommend and hopefully can stay again.
