The service was excellent! You have to download the hotel's app, but ordering through it was super fast, almost instantaneous. The room facilities were pretty good and met my needs, and the cleanliness was top-notch. I went during Christmas, so most of the nicer villas were fully booked, but this one was still a decent option. As for the location, it's about a 10-minute drive from Kamala Beach, and the hotel offers a shuttle bus service. Since the hotel is on a hill, there are steep inclines every time you go out. During the day, you can hear the Muslim call to prayer from a loudspeaker – it's not super close, but audible. This area is much quieter than Patong Beach, and there are very few Chinese tourists.

We stayed in a two-bedroom villa, and the facilities were complete and very thoughtfully arranged, with everything we could possibly need already provided. What we loved most was the outdoor area—the pool was large enough for plenty of fun, and the other outdoor relaxation spaces were extremely comfortable with wide, open views. Both suites were identical in layout and amenities, which was perfect for two couples as there was no need to worry about choosing between rooms. The hotel offered complimentary drinks and plenty of bottled water, as well as cooking utensils, making our stay very convenient. The villa was also well-prepared with effective mosquito and insect prevention measures. The staff were thoughtful and friendly, and we are certain we will stay here again on our next visit. The gentleman suggested that a razor be added to the bathroom amenities to make shaving more convenient.

We recently stayed at Villa Tantawan Resort – Private Pool Villas in Kamala, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a private pool that made our stay truly relaxing. The view over Kamala is stunning, especially at sunset — one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always attentive but never intrusive. They helped us with transport, activity recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed. Location-wise, it’s peaceful and quiet but still close enough to Kamala Beach, local restaurants, and attractions like Phuket FantaSea. We also loved the amenities — the private pool, fitness room, and free parking made our stay very convenient. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend Villa Tantawan for anyone looking for privacy, comfort, and a touch of luxury in Phuket. We’ll definitely come back!

Overall satisfaction was high, including the beautiful pool. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff's service was also adequate. The only issue was the unpleasant smell coming from the drain pipe.

Although the villa, with 3 rooms for 3 nights, at about 450,000 yen, felt a bit pricey, the staff's hospitality and service level were exceptionally high, leaving us very satisfied. I am truly grateful to all the staff. One thing I noticed was on the second day, we enjoyed a BBQ by the villa's poolside. We ordered it for a family of four, but the quantity was immense—enough to feed 7-8 people! On top of that, we ordered a la carte items like lobster, salad, and side dishes, which resulted in a lot of leftovers. It would have been helpful if we had received some advice when ordering. Also, the shower holder in the main room couldn't be adjusted, which made it a bit awkward to use.

Brilliant week staying at Tantawan. The staff are all very friendly, they are super helpful with everything asked. The villa is beautiful and has everything needed, breakfast overlooking Kamala was a treat. The location is out of the town, up a hill, making the villa really quiet, creating a feeling like you're alone and not in a busy resort. The hotel app is very easy to use, explained very well by the staff. Shuttle bus is very helpful service. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

An absolutely stunning experience. Service and app that was used for service was outstanding. Breakfast was beautifully presented and very nice options!! The staff who cleaned the villa were incredible and so polite and friendly! The pool was a little cold as it’s only heated by the sun, but we loved it all the same!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The resort has begun using an app service to provide timely and specific service to guests. We used it from booking shuttles to the beach or grocery store, ordering a buggy to take us to reception, ordering room service, scheduling housekeeping, and even a request to bring some salt after we ran out. The resort is perfect for a prolonged stay. The mini kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. The hotel provided pretty much unlimited bottled water. The private pool was clean, the jacuzzi was lovely. The TV had access to Netflix and YouTube. Service was truly excellent and the individuals at reception were always willing to call us a taxi or prepared to help us with our needs. The shuttle driver took us to the laundromat and also waited for us one day while we were late getting food. The hotel massage service was expensive in terms of quality, so I recommend trying out the places on Kamala Beach or elsewhere. I would recommend eating breakfast locally as the food you can get outside the resort is relatively cheap and tasty. The ways Tantawan could improve 1) increase water pressure for the showers, 2) provide trash bins for the living room and bedroom, 3) provide a yummier (as worded by my wife) breakfast I would definitely stay again in the future!
