Second time and it was still great! Weather could have been better but we still made the best of it.

The location is fantastic, but you can hear the city noise in your room until late at night. This might be an issue for light sleepers. I was also surprised by the shoddy plumbing facilities.

Our stay at Impiana Beach Resort started with quick check-in but went downhill quickly. When we entered the room mosquitoes were everywhere and we spent ages killing them. We called the front desk for help but got no response. After many hours of waiting with no action we had to go to reception in person before they finally came to sort it out. While walking around we noticed our room was much smaller than others even compared to the same room type right next door. There was no bench for luggage just a desk and bare floor which made things really inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was okay but clearly aimed at European guests and didn’t match what we expected in variety or quality. The location is great right on the beach and street noise never reached the room. Check-out was the worst part. Checkout time passed and 15 minutes after 12 we started getting calls. Then 10 minutes later a staff member came to the room in person to say we had to leave because the cleaner was waiting for the next guests. She smiled at first but rolled her eyes right after. It genuinely felt like we were being kicked out and left a very uncomfortable feeling. For the price we paid during Chinese New Year the whole experience was not worth it at all. 5 out of 10.

The service was absolutely terrible. The facilities are old, and the door lock was broken. When I told the staff, their attitude was very poor. I waited for almost an hour, and it wasn't fixed. They didn't resolve the issue, so I asked to check out. Only then did they move me to a different room, but it had two twin beds pushed together, leaving a gap in the middle when I slept. I was speechless and just made do for the night.

The hotel's location is great, but the front desk service leaves a lot to be desired. They gave me room 115, which was right next to an outdoor bar and incredibly noisy. (Avoid rooms in zone 1). The hotel facilities are a bit old and the lighting is dim.

We were genuinely excited about this resort based on what we saw online, but our stay turned out to be a major disappointment—especially considering the price. To start, the room we booked was advertised with a bathtub, which was an important factor in our decision. However, upon arrival, there was no tub in the room. When we raised this with reception, we were told that the bathtub shown online was “for advertising purposes only,” which is both misleading and unacceptable. After a long day of travel, all we wanted was a simple shower to refresh. Instead, we were met with extremely hot water—far beyond a comfortable level. The suggested solution from staff was to run the cold water for an extended period. Unfortunately, during our two-night stay, we had to let the water run for 15+ minutes each time just to make it usable. This is not only inconvenient but also wasteful. Another major reason we chose this resort was the pool and its ocean view. Disappointingly, the pool was under maintenance during our stay. This was never communicated in advance, and it significantly impacted our experience. Breakfast was also underwhelming. Arriving at 8 AM—just an hour after opening—we found most of the main dishes already empty, and they were not refilled during the entire hour we were there. While the beach view is nice, these issues completely overshadowed any positives. For the price paid, we expected far better transparency, maintenance, and service. We would not return and strongly hope management addresses these problems moving forward.

Right on the beach. The room was clean and well appointed. A distant view of the beach was pleasant. Breakfast was good with ample selections to choose from. The staff are friendly and efficient.

We are very disappointed with how this hotel handled our situation. Due to the current conflict, our flight was canceled at short notice by the airline. This was because we had a layover in Abu Dhabi, and air traffic is currently heavily restricted or even completely grounded. Consequently, we had no choice but to cancel our trip. We provided the hotel with all the necessary documents, including the flight cancellation notice from the airline. Despite this, they showed absolutely no understanding and offered no flexible solution. What's particularly upsetting is that we even tried to work with them. We offered to simply postpone our stay and were prepared to rebook for a later date, but there was zero flexibility or willingness to compromise on their part. This is especially regrettable because we've been loyal guests multiple times and actually quite like the hotel. Their handling of this situation is therefore all the more surprising and disheartening. It's a real shame, and prospective guests should be aware that this hotel shows no leniency, even under extraordinary circumstances.

It’s fine for a short stay, but it does feel like a missed opportunity, the hotel has a lovely resort vibe and could offer a much more delightful experience with better maintenance and attention to detail. At night, you can hear some music from the nearby beach club. However, it wasn’t too disturbing for me once the doors are closed, the noise is minimal and still manageable. I do appreciate the privacy the hotel offers, which is a plus. That said, don’t expect a particularly refined or elevated stay. Even small touches, like pantry items (e.g. sugar), are quite limited. Despite staying in a suite, I didn’t really feel any added sense of indulgence aside from the spacious room , and I like the desiged with separate sections. Other that could be improved, especially maintenance. For example, the shower was leaking and the water pressure was quite low. On a positive note, the hotel is halal-friendly, as confirmed by the café staff, which was definitely a plus for me. Overall, it’s a decent choice for the location and privacy, but not for a truly delightful resort experience.

It's absolutely impeccable....the most incredible room with the greatest views, not to mention the beautiful beachfront you walk out to from your room....friendly and helpful staff just the perfect place to unwind!!!!

Pros: The location is excellent, right on the beachfront. The atmosphere inside the hotel is very pleasant and lush, with plenty of trees. The reception service is okay—not particularly outstanding—but the staff in the breakfast area are all lovely, friendly, and always smiling. Cons: At night, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes. The cleanliness of the room is also not up to expectations; there were still stains and dust even after cleaning. Considering the price of over 5,000 baht per night, I believe the hotel could do better.
