The hotel is located on a very busy road, making walking to nearby cafes feel a bit dangerous. The sea view rooms have a nice view and there are ear plugs in the room for the constant road noise. Unfortunately, enjoying the balcony is difficult to enjoy due to the noise and the sewer smell. The infinity pool is lovely, and drinks prices are reasonable for chair service. Rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable and the shower is very nice with great pressure. But, I wouldn't stay again due to the road noise.

Pretty decent hotel, arrived late at the hotel, the smooth check in was very helpful. Could be a bit loud for the sea view room, but the sea view is solid.

Beautiful view of the ocean. Close to town, with excursions available. Great pool, gym and restaurants on site. Friendly staff, overall a great experience.

I decorated the room simply for my birthday. I was a bit disappointed with the sea-view room on the first floor; there's a small road right outside with motorcycles and cars passing by, though it wasn't too noisy. I thought I'd be able to see the pool, but I couldn't. There's a shuttle service, which saved us some taxi fare. Overall, the service was quite good, and the environment was nice. I still felt the price was a bit high. We only went to the pool once for photos and didn't explore other areas, which felt a bit like a waste. The spa prices were high.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in 2023 and loved the infinity pool, so we booked Kalima Resort again for this vacation. To be honest, I was quite disappointed. The linens were dirty; we asked for them to be changed, but the replacements were still dirty... The room was quite damp, making for an uncomfortable sleep. However, the hotel staff's service attitude is commendable; they even have dedicated Chinese-speaking staff, and the breakfast is very rich. Love the resort! There’s so many activities to enjoy within the resort, so you can easily have a great time even if you decide to just stay in. There’s also a good variety of halal options for breakfast. The staff were friendly and the service was great overall. The only downside is that there are quite a lot of stairs around the resort, so it may not be the most convenient for some people. Overall, enjoyed our stay!

The hotel's front desk service was decent; they even offered a free room upgrade, which initially led me to expect a pleasant stay. However, the reality was quite disappointing. After checking into the upgraded room, I found a cockroach while showering. When I reported it to the hotel, staff only came to do a perfunctory cleaning, and the solution was very superficial. Later, the room frequently had issues with hot water, which would come and go, severely impacting my stay. Only after we complained did the hotel help us switch rooms. The hotel is amazing very clean and the swimming pool was very nice. And the staff was very friendly and polite and helpful. The location is a not walking distance to high activity areas but 10 minutes away by car.

Really enjoyed our stay here for our honeymoon, all the staffs were so kind & give their best to serve us. Room were actlly clean, spacious & well-maintained. They also have free shuttle bus to go Jungceylon mall, but to go other places might need to take bolt. Plus point, the breakfast were halal & WE LOVED IT! 5/5 for this resort! ⭐️

Kalima Resort & Spa – A Hotel We'd Love to Return To We first discovered Kalima because of the Japanese restaurant on the hotel grounds. We were immediately impressed by the panoramic views and the famous infinity pool – so much so that we booked a few nights there almost immediately after dinner. And honestly, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The service here is truly top-notch, the infrastructure is excellent, and the staff are incredibly attentive. We appreciated the attention to detail: you can easily contact the reception, order services, and book activities through a convenient app, saving a lot of time on organizational matters. I particularly want to highlight the staff – all employees are very friendly, attentive, and respond quickly to any requests. Housekeeping was done daily and to a high standard, without any complaints. The breakfasts deserve special mention. The selection is truly impressive: Japanese and Italian cuisine, BBQ, a wide variety of fresh fruits, desserts, a chocolate fountain, and a DIY bar with mojitos and other cocktails. There's also a separate coffee bar where you can order coffee drinks or a matcha latte. We couldn't even try everything in just a few days. Another pleasant bonus is the recently opened sauna next to the main pool. It's very well-equipped, and thanks to regular cleaning, it's always clean and fresh inside, without any damp smell. The hotel is located a bit away from the main city infrastructure. However, this is perfectly compensated by the free shuttle service to and from Jungceylon, which runs throughout the day. Ultimately, we had such a wonderful time that we decided to extend our stay for an additional night. For us, this is probably the best indicator of how much we loved the hotel.
