Very bad, only worth 30 yuan a day, the hygiene is extremely poor, the toilets are rubbish to death

We expected the worst, but our stay at this hotel was great! But I want to clarify right away that the hotel rooms are all very different! It seems to me that we got the best room available in the hotel, because we visited other residents and were sometimes shocked, to put it mildly. Some rooms don't even have windows! Only a small window under the ceiling in the toilet)) these same rooms without windows are also very small and have a small balcony. There are rooms of the same size, but with a balcony twice as large. Also everywhere there is a very different view from the room. If you are placed on the 2nd floor, you will only be able to see the canopy below you and that’s all. We lived on the 4th floor in a non-main building. The room was very large, with two panoramic windows, bright and with a nice view. It was very dirty when we moved in, layers of dust on all surfaces. They didn’t swear, they just wiped and washed everything themselves. Then cleaning was done every day!! Which is surprising and very pleasing for the trio. There are no living creatures in the hotel, which was very important for me, since I am afraid of insects. The air conditioning works well, there is a refrigerator, no interruptions in hot water, everything is great. The staff is very nice, except for one lazy woman at the reception. I won’t say much about the location - it’s just gorgeous)) a lot has been written before me. Overall the holiday was 11/10. But we're deducting a star for the hotel because of the linen with holes, the dirty bed frames that really just need to be removed, and the same breakfast every single day.

We dined at this restaurant almost every evening! Everything is super, the cook knows how to cook seafood without spoiling it, the owner of the restaurant always tries to seat everyone who is hungry, and in terms of the time the dishes are served, everything is great, they are served in the order of preparation and not like in many Kata restaurants they forget about you.

The hotel is located at Kata Night Market. Consists of two buildings. In one there is a reception and a breakfast restaurant, in the other there are just rooms. We got into the second one. We didn’t expect anything good, judging by the reviews, but everything turned out to be not so bad, it could have been worse. On the plus side: the room is quite clean, clean plumbing, shower, there is always hot water, the air conditioner is new, there is a TV and a thermopot instead of a kettle, tea, coffee, two shampoos and microsoap, two 0.5 bottles of water are given every day, even if they don’t clean in the room. The double bed consists of two single beds put together and a double mattress on top, which is quite good. Wi-Fi is normal, enough for social networks. Available in the lobby, restaurant and in the room. Within walking distance there is an evening market (we live there 😆), fruits, cafes, exchangers and excursions. The beaches of Kata, Karon and Kata Noi are nearby. Of the minuses: at first we were checked into a room with a broken, dirty old air conditioner, without a TV. As it turned out, the air conditioner was immediately beyond repair (in the corridor they caught specialists who were filling the air conditioner with freon in another room), so they immediately moved to another one. There are only two towels, one is ok, the other is terrible, fortunately we took our own from home, plus a towel for our feet. The bedding is surprisingly normal, although they also took their own🤣, after reading the reviews, but the frill on the bottom of the mattress is fear and horror, I don’t even want to guess about the origin of the stains on it🤦‍♀️ There is no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom. The wardrobe is large, but there are no shelves. There are no nightstands by the bed, which is inconvenient. Sound insulation is poor, as if the window is open all the time. It is only possible to sleep with earplugs. The windows from our 441st room overlooked the road. It's noisy all the time. Something like that. They wouldn't take it a second time.

We vacationed in December 2023. We bought a package tour from San-Mar. They, in turn, bought it to the Odeon Tour. Chosen due to its high rating of 4.1. I won't trust ratings and reviews anymore. The hotel is dirty and noisy. The linen is dirty, like floor rags. I have never seen such dirty, washed-out linen in Thailand. An announcement was printed at the reception: “We sell to your operators rooms without TV, WiFi, and beach towels, your tour operators have been warned about this.” Breakfast is monotonous and sucks. The location is also bad, to the right and to the left there is a fence. It's a long walk to the beach. You can stay on your own for 1-2 nights when traveling around Tai (the price is very cheap when booking on your own). But buying on a Package Tour at a three-times inflated price is only a nightmare. Score below 1. I repeat - the price of the hotel when booking independently is one of the lowest. San Mar needs to be more responsible when choosing a hotel.

Самое приятное - это местоположение и еда в ресторане по вечерам- открытая веранда. Направо 15-20 мин - вы на Карон пляже(понравился больше всех), налево - 15-20 мин и вы на Ката пляже (для детей ,потому что берег пологий метров 50), а налево 40 мин - вы на Ката-Ной (оч сильные волны, так что сбивают с ног). Из плюсов отеля - убирали регулярно, полотенца, правда, серые. Пляжные полотенца- вообще как тряпки половые. Все принадлежности для душа и чая выдавались регулярно, но шапочек для душа нет - берите с собой. Рынок ночной рядом, звукоизоляция - отличная, никак нас не беспокоил. Из минусов - завтрак, голодными не будете , но и особо удовольствия от еды не получите. Персонал - очень добросовестный и услужливый, понравился. Отель на свои деньги.
