Angsana Phuket Review & Honest Feedback (Stayed July 31st - August 5th) > Important Reminder for Bookers: Before making a reservation, always confirm the swimming pool renovation details with the hotel and booking platform (e.g., Trip.com) to avoid key facilities being affected by construction. Detailed Stay Experience & Suggestions: * Pool Closure & Alternatives: The hotel's main pool is currently undergoing renovation (expected to be closed until late September or even October). While Xana Beach Club and Rava Club have small pools, they are not very suitable for children under 12. * Thoughtful Solution: During our stay, hotel management allowed us to use the excellent family-friendly pool at the adjacent Banyan Tree, easily accessible via the free Laguna ferry. * Booking Pitfall: When we booked through Trip.com and inquired with both parties, neither clearly specified the exact areas affected. Future travelers are strongly advised to double-check. * Room Location & Construction Noise: Villas numbered 1110 to 1124 within the resort are closer to the renovation site and may not be ideal for booking currently. Since hotels usually confirm specific room numbers only one day before check-in, it's recommended to clarify with customer service before making a full payment. * Protecting Consumer Rights: If your trip is affected by facility closures, impacting your children's expectations and your original experience, don't hesitate to voice your concerns to the hotel and booking platform. We successfully negotiated reasonable compensation through proactive communication with Trip.com and hotel management. * Dining Recommendations: The restaurants at Angsana and Banyan Tree are definitely worth trying. We highly recommend the Italian restaurant Azura and the Thai restaurant Saffron; both are of very high quality. * Service, Transportation & Environment: The hotel service is excellent, with buggy (golf cart) transfers available within the resort. The entire Laguna area also offers shuttle buses and ferries, making for a very relaxing and comfortable overall environment. * Family Leisure & Nearby Attractions: * Oasis Spa: Highly recommended for a family experience; we had a wonderful time there. * External Excursions: Khai Island and the Elephant Park are highly recommended for children under 10; they offer a great experience.

The room overlooked the hotel's lake, offering plenty of water activities. The hotel's Laguna area is vast with multiple restaurants, all of which are excellent. The beach environment and the sunset are absolutely stunning!

A good hotel with a large territory and attentive staff. There's a renovation going on until October, so it's going to be even more beautiful. My only suggestion would be to improve the breakfast; there's enough variety, but it could be better. My stay coincided with my birthday, and the hotel surprised me with a cake, room decorations, and flowers, which was a very pleasant touch – thank you! ☺️

The service was great, and breakfast was pretty good too. I really enjoyed the pool. You definitely have to visit the Italian restaurant by the beach; their pizza is incredibly delicious. The entire resort community is worth exploring, it's really nice!

It’s a huge resort and you get shuttle and ferry services to get around! Stays there 5 nights and service is phenomenal! I’ll definitely be back when I’m in Bangtao!

The room was quite clean and spacious, conveniently located right by the sea with its own beach. However, the hotel is currently renovating its pool, so only a section is open. We used the neighboring hotel's pool, which was also nice. The electric car shuttle to the beach was quite convenient. The staff were friendly.

The environment is beautiful, and the ecological conservation and construction are excellent. This hotel is highly recommended. The staff in charge of the boating activities were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with patient guidance and assistance. We really appreciate it. The overall quality of the staff left a great impression. We will definitely come back here again.

The environment and amenity is simply excellent! Though the main pool area is under renovation, we can still compensate by the access to Rava Beach Club. What impressed me most is the meticulous and thoughtful housekeeping service. We stay in Rm 3902. Thanks to the attentive service of the housekeeping staff. For the tranquility and the thoughtful hospitality, I will certainly stay in Angsana again.

I booked the rooms a long time ago, specifically selecting twin beds. However, when I finally arrived at the hotel late at night to check in, I was told that the two rooms I booked couldn't be arranged next to each other, which was already frustrating. On top of that, there were no twin rooms available at all. They could only arrange a room change the next afternoon at a specific time. There was no prior email notification, which is the least they could do when unable to provide the requested service. It was a real letdown, and no matter how good the environment is, it can't make up for it now.

Our two families were upgraded to a two-bedroom villa, which was quite nice with a large living room and a terrace. Even better was the service. Since we had a late flight, they specially arranged for us to check out at 6 PM. A big shout-out to YUDHA for the excellent service! The only minor downside was that part of the hotel was under renovation, but it should be even better once completed.

The atmosphere is great! Lots of activities to do, and the breakfast spread is incredibly varied and appetizing.

The staff were wonderfully friendly, but the facilities are old and not very clean. However, the location was great, being close to the night market, massage parlors, and many restaurants.

Excellent hotel! Wonderful service and caring staff! Especially Viktor, who recognized us from our previous stays, took our picture, gave us bracelets, and left them in our room. It was a very pleasant surprise.

The service was excellent; all my requests during check-in and throughout my stay were met. It felt very ceremonial, and Thai service truly is fantastic! 👍🏻 The room was a bit dated, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. The breakfast was also delicious. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance. **Environment:** The entire community boasts beautiful scenery with its own private beach. The designed gardens and platforms are also stunning.
