This hotel is truly perfect for a short getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm and unhurried. Our room was just a short walking distance to the beach, which made spontaneous morning walks and sunset moments incredibly easy and enjoyable. The environment is beautifully maintained; peaceful, clean, and surrounded by a soothing atmosphere that instantly helps you unwind. Every corner of the hotel feels thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The overall ambiance is quiet yet welcoming, making it ideal for anyone looking to slow down and recharge. They have a mini zoo and many other complimentary activities in the resort itself, so you stay occupied and active if you need to. Combined with the warm hospitality and attentive service from the team, our stay was nothing short of delightful. It’s the kind of place you leave feeling refreshed, already looking forward to coming back.

The hotel offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of nearby beaches, making it an ideal place to relax. The area is large and lush. The private beach is nice, but at the time of low tide a coral reef prevents swimming. Rooms are spacious and enough comfortable. Water sports facilities are available gor additional fee. There is a large, attractive pool. The on-site bar and restaurant serve good local and international cuisine. All service personal is very friendly and professional.

Everything here is perfect ! Soo in love with the surrounding landscape , the staffs is helpful and kind. Worth every penny of my visit.

Incompetent is the best way to describe our stay at Thavorn. The resort is old, but beautiful and it features a pool that wraps around the resort. The private beach is also stunning, but is rocky compared to Kamala beach. However the customer service was dreadful. They couldn’t get anything right from the time we checked in to when we checked out. We constantly had issues with housekeeping where they either wouldn’t clean our room at all or forgot certain things. When we’d request things or voice our concerns with the front desk, solving minor problems led to 30 minutes worth of waiting, requiring each person to escalate to another manager, which resulted in nothing. One of our family members wanted to upgrade to all inclusive, but they weren’t allowed to. They had also paid for and booked all inclusive for their 2 year old, but the resort refused to accommodate and instead told them that he could eat off their plate. The worst customer experience I’ve ever had a hotel.

A truly noteworthy stay! The hotel's courtyard boasts a beautiful green environment with a wide variety of plants. The pool water was also clean, with staff clearing fallen leaves first thing in the morning. There's a rich array of activities available at the hotel. In front of the hotel is a private white sand beach, which is very clean, and you can even go clamming during low tide. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection! However, the room's environment was a real letdown. The wooden structure inside gathered a lot of dust. The exhaust vent above the towel rack in the bathroom was completely caked with dust – it clearly hadn't been cleaned, which was quite disgusting. I can understand the yellowish water, given its hillside location, so I wasn't too picky about that. The TV was broken, but they quickly came to replace the screen.

Beautiful resort, will definitely recommend to fellow travelers. Buffet food options were great, bed was comfy, staff is accommodating. My only complaints is that you could tell the place needed a little updating, there was only a single power outlet in the room and even though it’s in a quiet location, there was nothing within walking distance if you wanted to venture outwards without a taxi.

The hotel is located in a great area, with plenty of attractions and activities just 3–5 miles to the south. The staff was outstanding friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and the pool area was beautifully maintained. Overall, a wonderful and satisfying stay!

We enjoyed our stay overall and would happily return. The property is beautiful. The breakfast buffet and Madura restaurant was excellent and very tasty, with an amazing view of the pool . The staff took good care of us throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out. They also have a gym facility and it was fun to exercise with a sea view. For improvements, we had no privacy with room 315, the staff was always in front of the villa( check my picture) and it was a messy view… I suggested to have plantation around the villa.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean and nature ! Very peaceful !Will definately come back !

It's very nice at daylight time, but at night it was completely dark. The room was fine it wasn't luxurious or poor. The only comment that has insects and that was unpleasant for my wife The food was nice .

Beautiful location Beautiful clean hotel restaurant and bungalows. Lagoon pool room just wonderful. I have to say that it was the staff who made my stay the most memorable. Fame and Voom from Crocodile Bar went out there way with outstanding customer service. A bid thank you to Thavorn Beach Village Resort and Spa. There are lots of activities to do. Perfect for family. Even romance.
