Panwa Cape Phuket|0.61km from Tarzan Adventure Phuket
We spent two weeks enjoying Beach Residence and we can say with a clear conscience that we enjoyed a quiet, secluded and completely relaxing holiday in an unexplored part of Phuket. If you are looking for an exciting and lively resort with a raucous nightlife, then Khao Haida Halde Beach is not for you. The more commercial resorts of Patong Beach and Karon Beach on the west coast will be more suitable for those who want to party late, enjoy crowded beaches and non-stop noise. The seaside villa is located on a very quiet hillside overlooking the gorgeous Chalong Bay Marina and its many islands. Next door is the Novotel, and there are signs of more hotel and serviced apartment development on the hillside, so the calm in the area will probably not last much longer. On the plus side, all rooms at the Seaside Inn have beautiful views of the ocean through the beach. Additionally, the room was spacious with kitchen and sitting area as well as a queen sized bedroom. All rooms have satellite TV, although they have limited English channels. The restaurant is on the beach ridge, next to the small pool, and the menu is quite reasonable, although not comprehensive. Food prices are much more expensive than the two or three nearby beach bars, about 150-200 baht per person, but there is a 10% service charge, plus 5% government tax. Local beach restaurants/bars, these are not available. We were able to buy meals for as low as 50 baht at these beach bars! The waiters at the beach restaurants were very nice, always polite, smiling, and tried their best to make us feel comfortable and happy. At the seaside, where there is generally nothing to do in the evening, patrons will benefit from impromptu entertainment in the swimming pool. At the Novotel hotel next door this was routine and got a good response. The beach in Khao-Khard is not particularly good, especially for family groups. The sand area is quite narrow and at low tide (sometimes the tide is high all day) some large rocks make swimming at low tide simply impractical. It is possible to swim safely at high tide, but even then, keep your feet covered as there will be some broken glass on the beach and in the sea. We ended up spending 650 baht on a taxi to Kata Beach, which is a very nice place and certainly higher in every aspect than beach resorts such as Karon and Patong. If you want to go into Phuket Town for shopping, the hotel provides a free mini bus twice a day and it only takes about 20 minutes. Bicycles and canoes are also provided free of charge for those who want to get a little active. A seaside villa will suit those who are looking for a holiday away from the world, happy to spend time in the sun and take an occasional dip in the pool or sea (at high tide). If you like to relax and unwind, you'll love this place.

Korsiri Pool Villas

Panwa Cape Phuket|0.83km from Tarzan Adventure Phuket
Overall, staying at this hotel is quite satisfactory. Advantages: 1. The hotel has upgraded the sea view villa for free, the view is too beautiful, and it is more beautiful than the pictures; 2. The furnishings are very carefully, the towels are folded and the animal graphics and the flowers are arranged, the children are very happy; 3. The hotel’s dining is very good, especially The breakfast is very rich and of good quality. It is amazing on the table. Other ordering services are good, and the price is not expensive. It can be said that it is much cheaper than ordinary roadside restaurants in Patong, and it is cost-effective; 4. Hygiene. Very clean, and the pool water is also replaced 24 hours a day, which is relatively clean. Disadvantages: 1. The location of the hotel is really remote. You must remember the approximate direction when you go out, because the location searched by Baidu Maps can't come back. It probably leads to the foot of the mountain, not the path back to the hotel; 2. Lived It is normal to break the glass in two days, and the price is not expensive, but the bottles on the shelf of the toiletries are easy to break. The shelf is not stable. I want to take it off and use it. I instinctively lift the lid, but the lid is the same as the bottle body. The one that was not tightened, fell directly to the ground and broke, 600 plants each, which is still quite expensive, and the broken things were printed out on the computer after the inspection of the ward, which is probably the part that often causes problems; 3. The biggest The problem is actually related to Ctrip. The actual partner is BOOKING. Each room stated on Ctrip can bring a child from 1 to 11 years old. After arriving at the hotel, the front desk will show their cooperation book with BOOKING, which is only 2 Free for children under the age of 2, and 2500 plants per person per night for adults over 2 years old. Fortunately, I remember that when I made a reservation on Ctrip, I saw the child’s terms and conditions, and then showed them to them and translated them directly. After they communicated, they said that our two 5-year-old children would not add money. This problem caused the check-in for more than half an hour, which was uncomfortable at first, but after seeing the beautiful sea-view room upgraded for us, I stayed comfortably. The hotel's service is very good, and more change is prepared as a tip, and both parties are happy.

Panwa Cape
This is a nice cheapish price hotel set within a condominium development about 50 metres back from the seafront in Panwa Bay. Rooms are clean and pretty well-maintained and the staff are super-helpful if you need any help (the first room I was in had an aircon fault and they changed me to another room without hesitation). Of course, this is Thailand so the beds were very hard - I actually travel in Asia with an airbed so no problem for me.... One thing to watch out for - which may already be corrected - is that when I tried to book a room through the web, at the last moment, a small info note saying ”no air conditioning” flashed up. This is not a part of the world where that would be a sensible option. Luckily, I have a friend who resides in the condo and she was able to clarify that all rooms do have aircon. Just to be safe, she booked for me so I wouldn't have to accept that condition. The hotel indicated it was an error for the ”no aircon” message to be displayed so you may not even see that. In the end, the only impact was that I had to pay cash on-site and probably paid a few dollars per night more than the web offer. But it was still great value - and there's an ATM just a few yards down the road. In terms of location, it's within a quite small development with lots of shops, a 7-11, tons of beachside stalls selling food and clothing, plenty of delicious dining options, Thai massage plus the inevitable (these days) **** shops. There's a small beach but if you want a nice swim, you'd be better off driving a km or so up the road. Almost no waves as it faces west. No rubbish on the beaches when I was there. There are lovely, and often gorgeous, sunsets over the bay and above the hills beyond. All in all, it's a really great place to stay so long as you have a strategy for getting from the airport (which is about 50 minutes away), and are looking for a base to explore from, rather than just stay put and veg. Unless you want to visit those aforementioned shops of course ;)

We have just landed back to the UK after an incredible 14 night stay at X10. This was a very belated (due to Covid scuppering previous plans!) 20th wedding anniversary getaway, and we were absolutely not disappointed! From the moment we walked into room 42 we knew we were going to have an amazing time. The views and sunset every night were truly breathtaking! Sajal and Kung were exceptional.. they advised on places to visit during our first time in Thailand, and organised the booking and travel arrangements so everything was stress free. The whole complex was spotless, and restaurants/mini supermarket was only a short walk away. We were very sad to leave… and will definitely be retiring in the near future. Thankyou Sajal, Kung and all the staff at X10 From Steve & Lisa
