Comfort Inn

We had to wait for 30 minutes for a room to get cleaned. We were given a room on the third floor only to find out that the elevator didn’t work! We asked for another room and we had to wait another 10 minutes only to get a room on the second floor. We brought dinner and soda from the store only to find out that there was no ice in the ice machine. So my fiancé went downstairs to ask if we could have some ice from the kitchen and the manager told us that they didn’t have any in the whole building.

The shower curtain wasn’t wide enough to close. It made for a very cold shower so I purchased a liner. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The mattress on the bed seemed firm but I rolled to the middle. There were multiple stains on the carpet. This was a suite and wasn’t very comfortable or clean. My family stayed across the hall in a 2-bed room, and it was so much nicer.

At checking the CSR states there is a deposit and scan my credit card and I get alerts on my phone saying it went through. CSR says it didn’t and reran my card. CSR runs card again successful on my end but also on his. I proceed to my room ready to relax and watch tv. Turn on tv can’t get the default channel to change. I call front desk I’m told he will be up in 25-30 mins we’ll 45 mins later he shows up with about 8 different remotes and finally finds one that could get pass the default channel. Day 2 I check my credit card and sure enough I was pre charged twice for the deposit. I ahead to front desk show them. This CSR proceeds to say he can’t do anything about it right but wrote my name on a piece of paper. I leave for most of the day and go to my room both keys not working. Go to front desk to ask why the CSR takes my cards and reactivate them and simply says “they work now” no explanation to why or not sorry for inconvenience nothing. The next day again leave for most of day to come back to the keys not working. But not only mine but 2 other customers lock out. This time I ask for a manager to get an answer but this CSR said that putting to close or next to phone will deactivate them. I tell him my second card was in my purse in my wallet. Never been at a hotel that keys supposedly deactivated all the time with multiple people. Which if the phone closeness is the true reason then the hotel should tell customers at check-in. Two after stay I’m charged for 1 deposit

There were bed bugs in the room! Changed rooms and offered a refund percentage

I don’t usually write reviews, but I hope this helps someone avoid wasting $100. The TV didn’t work, and when I left my room for the evening the door wouldn’t even latch — you could just push it open, which felt unsafe. In the morning, I was woken up by the loud beeping of the ice machine in the hallway. Overall, this place feels like a $60 motel. For the price, you can definitely find something better just down the street.

Had very loud people in the rooms next to ours. Screaming and fighting all night. Staff reluctant to address the issue
