We had a wonderful stay at Quinta Minuvida! The hosts are extremely welcoming and had lots of great recommendations for things to do during our stay. The daily breakfast was very fresh and delicious, and they used all local ingredients- some right from the property! The cute and friendly dogs and cats roaming around were a highlight for us! We will certainly be back!

What can I say about this amazing place ♥️ I stayed here for a retreat event I stayed in the pool apartment huge space, all in keeping with the ethos of the couple the apartment was well furnished with everything you will need and more Yoga studio with everything you will need for keeping flexible There are beautiful gardens with everything for the kitchen ♥️ bananas herbs and all yummy things, being a vegan there staff prepared incredible meals breakfast lunch and evening meal you won’t be disappointed promise I’m very fussy! The staff here are just lovely people If you’re looking for peace and stunning views what you waiting for

This was a return visit to Minuvida for me, and I found this welcoming space even better than the last visit! The rooms are beautiful old-world charming, and the breakfast, all locally sourced, was terrific. As a vegan person I especially loved the local breads, fruits and Ana's amazing granola. The upgraded shared kitchen space was great for preparing meals when we ate in. Also, being centrally located on Sao Miguel makes getting for hikes very easy! Armindo was fantastic - welcoming, so very warm, and also a great source for recommendations. Rimi's yoga classes were inspiring, and Joao is always a steady, warm presence around the Quinta. Their commitment to the environment was also evident and another sign of caring.

When we arrived we were so happily greeted by Moo and Biscuit (Biscoito) in the parking area....two of the sweetest dogs I've ever met! Armindo, Minuvida's manager was equally welcoming! Telling us about the Lodge and all that was important to know upon arrival as he showed us to our rooms. Each morning and evening we indulged in a feast: fruits, yogurt, local cheese, a delicious chicken dish and homemade lasagna were some of the offerings loving prepared by their chefs. Rimi and João were wonderful hosts, taking us to explore hiking trail and hot spring pools while sharing with us the history or fun facts of their Island. Beautiful place and beautiful people xo

I hosted a women's retreat at Minuvida with 6 participants who absolutely loved the experience. The accommodations were comfortable, the staff was warm and inviting, the food was healthy and delicious, and the Quinta itself was stunning. I'll definitely be hosting more retreats at Minuvida!

What a GREAT surprise. No regular Motel experience here. Like staying in your Grandma's House. Everyone
staying has a place set for Breakfast. Great Conversation
and trip discusions. Breakfast is all local sourced, really good! Yogurts.Jambs, Breads, Fruits, eggs.
and coffee your way! I met all German people and had a great time. Did a local hike with the owner and some guests. This was a great start to a wonderfull trip!
