Our warm and cosy hotel in the centre of Koli village is a haven for active holidaymakers and curious adventurers where you can enjoy free WiFi - generous buffet breakfast which is included in the room price - hotel saunas as well as delicious food in the hotel restaurant. The walking and hiking trails into Koli National Park start from our hotel. Lake Pielinen and the peaks of Koli are only a short distance away. Rental equipment for activities is available for rent from our hotel and ski equipment from the nearby Ukko-Koli ski resort - there is plenty to do and see to suit any inspiration. I booked the hotel via Trip.com. The hotel booking is paid, however during check-in, the front desk manager said that she couldn’t find the payment record. I reached Trip.com right away and I got replied and assisted immediately. The payment actually transferred to the hotel side but the manager kept saying that they couldn’t find the record. After spending half hour standing at the reception, we are allowed to check-in. The manager apparently wasn’t competent nor polite. She definitely need to learn how to deal things internationally. She didn’t apologise at all.

We (me & two teenagers) stayed at this hotel for one night (23.-24.10.2024, room for four). The room price was around 130 euros which is about average or slightly above it compared to our usual hotel nights. The hotel was located in a good place when traveling by car. Everything looked neat and clean, service was warm and welcoming and both dinner (à la carte) and breakfast were excellent. During our stay there were only a few people so were able to enjoy of a peaceful atmosphere. We definitely recommend the hotel if you're visiting Koli. The only downside is the price - as always with Sokos Hotels.

Nice and easy check in service. Room was small but clean and what we had booked. Restaurant Wes nice and service was pleasant and attentive. Breakfast buffet better than average, with a great selection of fresh fruit. Scrambled eggs could be better. Hotel was fully booked but service at breakfast was not a problem despite this. The hotel is centrally located close to many outdoor adventures. We would live to come back another time. Hotel is very new and in good condition. There is a small supermarket next door, and another restaurant across the street. Outdoor activities can be arranged onsite.

Lovely hotel. Everything new, fresh and clean. Beautiful, quite small rooms, but the combination of two rooms very nice for a bigger family (6 of us) Good breakfast but the queuing didn’t work when there was more people, so some improvement needed in that area.
