"I travel on business weekly and always look for a Southern Sun Hotel before any other, I stay at Southern Suns across the country and I must say this is the worst one I have ever encountered. From requesting an iron and ironing board and no one pitching, to calling reception and the phone ringing forever without answer, to the shocking food served at breakfast (probably yesterday's lunch leftovers), to being sent a broken iron and being told there is no other iron so I had to iron with a leaking iron which made my suit and shirt wet. There were so many awful experiences at this Southern Sun, and inexplicably it is more expensive than one of the best Southern Suns in the country (Southern Sun Waterfront - Cape Town). I will definitely not be back. In fact I'm considering cancelling my rewards card and joining Protea card and taking my business there. Unfortunately I had already booked and paid for 5 nights at this Southern Sun, it was an awful experience. I have taken time before completing this survey because I wanted to be as objective as possible but there is no running away from some sad truths. You have a very long way to go as a hotel Southern Sun PMB."

"7 Oakley was selected when we were looking for a convenient place to stayover the night before the Amashova cycle race. The rooms had all the little luxuries ladies appreciate. The owners were super helpful and accommodating. Although the weather was wet and cold we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to freewheel down the hill to the race start and our partners were able to have a leisurely start to the day."

"I can't put into words the appreciation and gratitude I have for Gys who welcomed me and my Mom into his accommodation. My Mom arrived a few days prior to me due to a family emergency and he was extremely helpful in ensuring she could get to the shops, felt welcomed and comfortable until I could get there. The accommodation was excellent. Spacious rooms with ensuites. Comfortable beds. Totally unique bohemian style, lovely garden to have your morning coffee in or evening drink by the Koi pond. I can't recommend them enough. Will definitely use again in the future if ever needed."

"The place is clean, tidy and beautifully decorated and maintained. The staff are very friendly and professional. The location is great as it’s close to the city and I was meeting some friends there and drive was so quick. And when I had to leave to go back to Durban it was so easy as the Bnb is so close to the main road that leads to the freeway. I really enjoyed my stay there the breakfast was really delicious. Would 10/10 recommend!"
