Mthembuskloof Country Lodge

I stayed at Mthembus Kloof for one night while travelling for a meeting, and it was exactly what I needed. The setting is incredibly peaceful and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery – a perfect escape from the city, even if just for a short stay. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared for an overnight stay. Everything I needed was in place, and the overall experience felt effortless. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the relaxed environment. What stood out most was how convenient it was as a stopover – quiet, safe, and well-located without feeling too far out. I woke up refreshed and ready for my meeting the next day. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a tranquil overnight stay, whether for business travel or a quick getaway.

My girlfriend and I, recently visited Mthembuskloof Country Lodge, and it was an incredible experience! The lodge is impeccably clean, and the attention to detail is evident everywhere. Their food was absolutely delicious—so much so that we didn’t even bother cooking the food we had brought along. The entertainment options were fantastic, with quad biking being a personal highlight. It added an extra layer of fun to the holiday. I also highly recommend their full-body massage—it’s the perfect way to relax and refresh your mind. The staff, especially Sipho and Otto, were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ensuring that our needs were met. Their hospitality truly made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to relax and unwind, Mthembuskloof Country Lodge is the place to be. I highly recommend it!

Love the place , most welcoming......so friendly, food was amazing . The owner takes care of every guest visiting his property . Will go back again .From the time we arrived till the time we left we were treated like royalty.To the staff and management 'Thank you' and we look forward to returning back.

There is three dogs that were barking all night long , i barely slept on monday, had to shift find another lodge around, no parking with shadow it was terrible leaving my car outside

the food, the peace and tranquility was out of this world . my husband and i enjoyed everything there, Otto the manager was very acommodative.we loved everything there and the other staff was also help full.

Very friendly staff and excellent service.The rooms are very well maintained and clean.The bed was very comfortable .The fireplace was so nice and seeing the sunset from such a great location the lodge has been built. The wonderful breakfast in the morning was excellent.
