A beautiful location next to the Rock River is the best feature of the hotel. The room was large and had a mini refrigerator and microwave. The wifi worked well and there was coffee in the lobby. The front desk is not staffed 24 hours and the rooms are not cleaned every day, but neither is my house, haha. There is a bank and two restaurants sharing the parking lot but otherwise nothing is available within walking distance. A quick five minute drive gets you to anywhere in town.

Good value and great location I was in town visiting family. This was a great place to stay and be close to their house. The view of the water was amazing as was the balcony room. The only downfall was for being a family type hotel, it would have been great if they had board games we could have used. They have a nice area that could be used for a Continental breakfast but only provided coffee and tea. Sometimes those little extras go a long way. Overall it was a nice experience and would stay there again.

Overnighter A bit dated. The coffee station is not replenished with a fresh pot until after staff comes in approximately at 9 am. You must ask for shampoo and cream rinse at check as it’s only provided upon request. Could upgrade the matresses sometime.

Oregon Women's Club Antique Show stay. Very nice hotel with two restaurants on site. Waitress and staff super friendly. Country setting five minutes to town. This was our second year staying and will do so in the future. Highly recommend.

Not A Great Value The room was very clean. The bathroom was very small and the tub was slippery. I almost fell twice. There was no rubber mat. There was no shampoo or lotion. There was a note to let the front desk know if any was needed, but the front desk closed at 8 before I took my shower. No one warned us the front desk closed at 8. Also, when we came back from dinner, after the front desk closed, my husband's room key didn't work. Thankfully, I had mine and we were able to get into the room. I think for the $100 we paid it was not a great value. There was no breakfast. Two plusses; the restaurant across the parking lot was excellent and we could see the setting by the river is picturesque, although we did not have a river view room.

Quick Work Trip Gem Found myself in Oregon for work and needed a last minute stay. The staff was welcoming and the establishment was quaint - I stayed in the single double sweet. The street was quiet in the evening. Highly recommended for a stay.
