The Swanlake Villa Resort Hotel

It seems like this resort has been around for a while and is in desperate need of renovation and maintenance. What a waste of a potentially great park! The only thing left to do here is probably the paddle boats. Also, a tip for sleeping: don't turn off all the lights at night. It's best to leave a light on in the bathroom, otherwise, you'll find a lot of unknown bugs crawling around (not sure if they were cockroaches), which was pretty terrifying.

It's a great place, but unfortunately, it's really lacking in maintenance. The rooms are old, and the bed sheets seemed unwashed with hair on them. The rooms themselves were otherwise pretty clean. It's primarily a resort area, but most of the facilities are broken. The small boats have broken oars, the paddle boats are filthy, and other areas are abandoned, with only the pool left. The pool water was incredibly dirty; when I dove in, I was shocked by the state of the bottom – they don't even bother to vacuum it. The hot spring pool was also out of order. I even met a mother and son, American Chinese, who had visited 20 years ago. The son really missed the place and specifically came back this time, but they were disappointed by how much it had deteriorated.

Although the hotel is quite old, the rooms were kept very clean. The swimming pool water was a bit dirty with leaves at the bottom, but everything else was great. The fact that they offer barbecue facilities was a big plus. I would stay here again next time.

The swimming pool was too dimly lit at night. During the day, it appeared somewhat dirty (with leaves and plastic sheets). We had the karaoke room all to ourselves; thank you to the staff. The park was fairly clean, and a walk around was very pleasant.

The hotel is conveniently located in Kenting, but hygiene needs to be improved, such as the outdoor swimming pool and room cleaning.

The hotel grounds and swimming pool were old and dirty. The room floor was extremely dirty. When I went to take a shower at night, I discovered that the shower gel was empty and hadn't been refilled. The hot water in the bathtub wasn't hot either. I really can't give it a good review!

The facilities were closed due to low visitor numbers in winter. This was not explained or mentioned upon check-in. The hot water was not hot, but the staff were very friendly.
