Staying at the Lojuseaview home stay is an experience to be be remembered. If you have the opportunity to stay 1 night in the island, please do it, you'll remember having the amazing landscape with few people around after the ferries leave.
The property is located a couple of minutes out the main town (the main harbor where the ferries leave/arrive) by bike or scooter. If you are going to stay in the island you will need to rent some transportation, so it shouldn't be an issue. But even walking it should not be longer than 15-20 minutes. The whole place has a very relaxed vibe, with a nice decoration that made me want to spend more time there.
The rooms are quite spacious, the beds comfortable, and it offers a unique experience, with a large common area just outside the rooms, with water, snacks, coffee, etc. on the house. For breakfast it offers either a limited set of options to be delivered at 8:30am to the common area, or a coupon in a local breakfast takeaway place (5 minutes by bike). You'll need to polish your Chinese to order since there is no written menu ( or try your luck with Google translate). Regarding cleanliness, they were also taken care off, but keep in mind you are in the field in a tropical area, so it it normal to see some insects, even inside the rooms, especially ants. Better to keep the food in the fridge.
It was also very pleasant to interact with the owner. He was always kind and helpful, answering all of our doubts and questions about places to rent snorkel equipment, souvenirs, take a bite, etc.
Be sure you can make it to the check-in time, since at least for my stay it was a very limited schedule (from 15 to 18 hours), and you might need to wait for up to 10 minutes if the owner needed to pick up guest or manage the property. I'd say this is more than acceptable for a small, carefully managed property, but just to be aware.
