HH A A NLovely hosts, beautiful rooms, and amazing home-cooked food!
The hosts are extremely hospitable and spared no efforts to ensure that we were comfortable and well-prepared for our hike. They are great cooks and dinner often consists of locally sourced produce (bamboo shoots from the nearby mountain, home-cured meats, home-grown yams etc.) The local palate is on the spicy side, but they were more than willing to accomodate our weak tongues.
In terms of location, the homestay is located right next to a stream, so close that you can hear it if you open your windows, and is conveniently located about 1km away from the trailhead. The outdoor patio is the perfect place to relax and unwind with tea, snacks, and the sounds of the babbling brook. We arrived in Pingxiang and took a 1 hour car ride to the homestay - easily found on the map and not hard to navigate to at all.
Overall, definitely recommend this homestay if you intend to conquer Wugong shan! P.S. they also have 2 lovely dogs.

2202050****Because the temperature was low during the Spring Festival, the air conditioner was frozen, resulting in no air conditioning in the room. It was extremely cold! The landlady was very enthusiastic and brought some warm air to remedy the situation, but it was of little use, better than nothing. I couldn’t rest well anyway! The environment is very good. The proprietress cooked the soup noodles and squeezed the soy milk herself for breakfast. It tasted good. What I am not satisfied with is the air conditioning. The room I booked in advance did not have air conditioning and the price was not reduced. The two rooms I booked later only paid a fraction of the price. I felt it was not worth it. In addition, I personally think that the merchant should explain the air conditioning problem in advance, so that we can choose to change our accommodation instead of being forced to make do with it. Aside from the air conditioning issue, everything else is fine!

If the rest was not good, so many small bridges and flowing water were poetic and picturesque soft decorations. I hope I can do better and better. Be a quality homestay as soon as possible. Although there are a lot of unpleasant things, the scenery of Wugong Mountain is beautiful and worth a visit. The sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases are all spotless, showing the hotel's meticulous attention to hygiene. The room was fully equipped with everything you need, including air conditioning, a TV, a kettle, and a hairdryer, all working properly. The TV offers a wide selection of programs, allowing me to fully enjoy my leisure time. What surprised me most was the stunning view from the room window. Opening the window, I could see the beautiful city nightscape, which was truly refreshing.
The hotel's dining service was also highly recommended. The breakfast menu is rich and varied, with options including Chinese congee, side dishes, steamed buns, and fried dough sticks, as well as Western-style bread, milk, juice, and fried eggs, catering to diverse tastes. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with neatly arranged tableware. The staff are attentive and promptly refill food and drinks. During meals, guests can enjoy the hotel's carefully prepared music, creating a relaxing and enjoyable dining atmosphere.
Overall, the enthusiastic service of the front desk attendant, Xiaoguai, left a very positive impression and experience.

Facilities: Average. There are no windows like the ones in the pictures. Besides being fully sealed, the door is not easy to close. Can you imagine the feeling of having drafts leaking in temperatures several degrees below zero? Moreover, the thermal insulation effect doesn’t seem to be as good as the glass starry sky room. If I had known this earlier, I wouldn’t have spent the few dozen dollars to book a starry sky room! There is only one socket in the room, and you can't charge your phone if you plug in an electric blanket!
Hygiene: ok, the quilt has no peculiar smell and the room has been cleaned!
Service: hot water, dining tables, paper towels, etc. are provided. The boss's service is fine. The boss is the convenience store. The price is okay. Friends who feel tired don't have to carry too much.
Advantages: If you turn right from the fork in the Jinding staircase, you will reach the Shanshen Platform Hotel. It is not far away and close to the public toilet. In the morning, there is a road that allows you to watch the sunrise while going directly to the Jinding.
In short, it is recommended to book a starry sky room directly, especially in winter weather when you don’t even want to take out your phone to play!

MM471301****It's pretty good. The room is clean and there is no peculiar smell, but the quilt and pillows are a little damp, but this is normal on the mountain. Compared to other accommodations in several other locations, there are relatively few bugs here in Shanshen! We basically didn’t see many bugs. We passed several other accommodations that day, and even the bathrooms were full of bugs. It’s not very far from the Golden Summit, about 20 minutes’ walk. It's quieter than other places, and the bathroom is not so crowded.
