Facilities: All the facilities are very complete and easy to use. Cleanliness: The hygiene is also very good; the establishment is very clean, making for a comfortable stay. Environment: The surrounding environment is very quiet, and there's no disturbance at night, allowing for good sleep. Service: The service is excellent. We went for a stroll in the ancient city and returned after 10 PM, and the owner still greeted us. During our stay, the owner also gave us a map and explained the layout of the ancient city. This map was very helpful for our tour. When we left, they even gave us a few bottles of aged vinegar. All in all, it was a fantastic experience!

The best part of my Pingyao trip was staying at this guesthouse. Tucked away in a quiet alley within the ancient city, it offers a peaceful and elegant Jin merchant courtyard, a stark contrast to the bustling Ming and Qing streets outside. With its gray bricks, tiled roofs, wooden windows, and red lanterns, it provides an immersive experience of the old city's charm, truly setting the perfect ambiance. The owner's service was incredibly thoughtful; they offer free pick-up and drop-off to attractions, saving my family the trouble of dragging luggage on the cobblestone streets. They also patiently explained the ancient city's touring routes, gave tips to avoid tourist traps, and recommended local delicacies. Sitting in the courtyard in the morning, and watching the lanterns light up at night, it was a truly fulfilling experience. The value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Pingyao and I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit.

Every summer, winter, and National Day holiday, I always book chain hotels. This time, I decided to try a guesthouse, and I was a bit worried before arriving. While we were still in Datong, the owner called to ask about our arrival time and instructed us to get off at the North Gate of Pingyao Ancient City, then turn left after entering. The owner personally drove to pick us up, helped with our luggage, and after check-in, explained how to best explore the area. The air conditioning was turned on 30 minutes before we arrived. The room was clean, and the courtyard was quiet, exceeding my expectations. When we left, the owner even dropped us off at the taxi stand. I wish the owner a prosperous business!

To top it off, he even gave us two bottles of Shanxi aged vinegar upon checkout. Highly recommended, definitely a five-star experience!

The owner's father even provided station pickup and drop-off, which was a huge bonus. Definitely excellent value for money! This was the most satisfying stay during my visit to Pingyao Ancient City.

The room was also really nice, and for the price, it's excellent value for money. There's a sightseeing cart right outside that can take you anywhere in the ancient city, and it's also a pleasant, short walk back to the guesthouse. The owner patiently explained how to best explore the ancient city, and even gave us a bottle of vinegar when we checked out – truly wonderful! The courtyard is also very beautiful.
