The owner and staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Seeing that our child was a bit older, they proactively upgraded our room... The complimentary fruit was also super delicious, and the mini-bar in the room was free to enjoy... The location is quiet yet central, so we slept incredibly comfortably. Highly recommend for family trips!

This ancient-style courtyard hidden in Pingyao Ancient City was such a pleasant surprise! Red lanterns hung high, and the ancient architecture was full of charm. The courtyard itself was serene and quiet. The room was clean, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. The owner was warm and attentive, even offering recommendations for things to do. It's super convenient for exploring the ancient city, and you can really immerse yourself in the rich history of Jin merchants. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit~

The service was excellent! The facilities were also great, with Dyson hairdryers and L'Occitane toiletries. The breakfast was also very good, a nine-grid bento style. The attention to detail in the service was top-notch. It's a great choice.

My first impression was how thoughtful and enthusiastic the hosts were, and their dedicated service. They gave detailed recommendations on how to explore, where to eat, what to see, and even provided maps for tourists. They also arranged free pick-up and drop-off, which made me feel incredibly at ease. Then there was the environment itself... simply stunning! It was quiet, elegant, with the grandeur of a Jin merchant compound and the beauty of a smaller garden. Truly, every corner was a picturesque spot, perfect for photos. It’s an ideal courtyard for girlfriends who love taking pictures. Each room in the guesthouse is unique, offering a variety of styles to suit different preferences. We decided to extend our stay for another night without hesitation. Being in such an environment made us feel comfortable, secure, and completely relaxed.

An absolutely wonderful experience! As soon as we got off the train, a handsome young driver was already waiting for us at the exit, ready to help with our luggage. The drive wasn't long, and he gave us a brief overview of the ancient city. Upon arrival at the hotel, our lovely and warm butler had already cleaned our room and arranged for early check-in. Knowing we hadn't had breakfast yet, she immediately arranged a meal for us. The room itself was clean and tidy, with an antique charm that added a special sense of tranquility. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. For breakfast, each of us received a 'nine-grid' meal: eggs, beef, vegetables, Pingyao specialty noodles, pastries, yogurt, milk, and coffee. They even asked if we wanted more, truly heartwarming. When we left, they gave us a souvenir, and the same handsome young driver took us back.
