The hotel is very new and nice, I really like its Chinese style. The room is spacious, and the bedding is very comfortable, probably a good brand. I forgot to ask what brand it was when checking out, but it was excellent! 😎

I booked a room with a window, but it was right next to the adjacent building and completely blocked. This should have been stated beforehand, as it made for a very poor experience. The dryer on the first floor took almost 3 hours to dry clothes. Otherwise, the room facilities and hygiene were quite good.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very helpful. They even brought fruit to our room in the evening. Most importantly, it's close to the north gate of the ancient city, just a short walk away. Overall, it was a good experience.

The Tingbo Hotel has a very tasteful new Chinese national style. The Dreamy Pavilion room was clean and airy, and the Xilinmen mattress provided a very comfortable sleep. The smart home system and Kung Fu tea set showed thoughtful attention to detail. The front desk service was gentle and efficient. It's very close to the ancient city, making it convenient for getting around. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Pingyao!
