Great location, beautiful courtyard, nice room with good beds. Staff is friendly. Local breakfast including bouled egg, vegetables and buns. Laundry possibly at affordable price.

This B&B, converted from a traditional northern Chinese dwelling, offers a unique experience. Walking through the courtyard, you can almost feel the clouds drifting by with the ancients, enjoying the serene yet lively atmosphere. They gave a little gift when we checked out which was a nice surprise:), we were very grateful for that because we didn’t get a change to buy some pingyao vinegar but there was a small bottle inside the gift bag! The room was clean, the aircon worked and the bed was comfortable.

This was such a sweet stay! Very pretty hotel, way better than the photos. The room was extremely clean and felt quite new. There was a western toilet and the shower had a curtain. The air conditioner was working great. The location is quite convenient, 10 minutes from a gate by walking, and close to the main street. The recommended restaurants were well priced and had great food, nothing negative to say about anything on this hotel. A lot of free amenities and they even gave me some specialties on the checkout! I wish I had stayed more time in PingYao, the city is very beautiful.

We had a great stay at Elsewhere Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable, nice and well equipped. Moreover, the staff was super nice and friendly, they helped us find the hotel location, they explained the main places to visit at Pingyao and recommended restaurants.
