Pingyaoxing Hotel

The hotel has a great location, right near the old city gate. The decor is charmingly antique, and the place is clean and tidy. The service was enthusiastic, and they even offer a pick-up/drop-off service from the station. We spontaneously decided to stay an extra night, and the owner thoughtfully upgraded our room. Highly recommended!

The rooms have a classic style, and the hotel's location is excellent, near Yingxun Gate, and very close to the main South Street. It's a very good hotel.

I chose this place because it's a hundred-year-old historic house, and I wasn't disappointed! The building is truly beautiful, full of rich historical charm. The hotel offers a shuttle service, and during check-in, they gave clear and comprehensive explanations of the main attractions. Some of the in-room facilities are a bit old, especially the bathroom, and there's a slight 'old house' smell. However, the courtyard is absolutely stunning! As a parting gift, they gave us some aged vinegar. The owner's sincerity really shines through. I'd recommend it!

Overall, it's acceptable, though the hygiene and bathroom facilities are a bit subpar. However, its strong point is the excellent location, with a shuttle service available between the guesthouse and the old town entrance, which is very convenient for guests with luggage. Breakfast delivered to the door was a nice touch.

The room was spacious and the courtyard was lovely. Since I was on the first floor, the only downside was that photo shoots sometimes disturbed my rest. The breakfast could also be improved. However, the owner was very thoughtful; they not only provided shuttle service to and from the station but also prepared bread, sausages, and hard-boiled eggs for my early departure the next day. I really appreciated the attentive service and warm hospitality from the hotel staff. Most importantly, the location and facilities were excellent. They were truly wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel 100%.
