At 1.00 pm, the cleaning lady entered our room without knocking while my girlfriend and I were on the bed, telling us that she had to redo the room. Entering without knocking was not pleasant which made both me and my girlfriend nervous. I'll start by saying that making up the room at 1pm also seems late to me but every hotel has its own rules. Rules that were not explained to us at check-in. Promptly, I reported it to the girl at the reception who told me that cleaning was done from 8.30am to an unspecified end. To my question "but don't you have a door hanging sign saying do not disturb" to avoid these inconveniences? The answer was: of course! It's inside your room. The fact is that this door hanger sign was not present inside our room due to an oversight when arranging the room in anticipation of our check-in. It makes it clear that these people have not spoken to each other in the last 24 hours since the event and have not asked us for a discussion.
