Knockendarroch Hotel

Our stay at this charming hotel was truly delightful from start to finish. The atmosphere was elegant yet cozy, with beautifully decorated interiors that made us feel right at home. From the inviting sitting room with its warm fireplace and well-stocked bookshelves to the bright, spacious dining area with stunning views, every corner exuded comfort and character. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the dining experience. Every meal was a work of art — beautifully plated, flavorful, and prepared with care. The courses ranged from perfectly cooked meats and fresh vegetables to creamy risottos, refreshing fruit bowls, and decadent desserts. Each dish was thoughtfully presented, and the variety showed the chef’s creativity and passion for fine dining. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, which made us feel really cared for. It was a perfect mix of relaxation, good food, and good company — a stay we’ll remember fondly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and genuine hospitality.

Our first visit to Knockendarroch for a 2 night break, DBB, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Words cannot express adequately just how fantastic this hotel is. We were upgraded to a premier room with stunning views of the mountains and the town. The staff are all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Food was exquisite, every course on both nights were amazing and so delicious, probably the best we've had in a long time. We hope to return to Knockendarroch in the not too distant and would thoroughly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Fabulous Scottish country hotel looking out onto the surrounding hills. Immaculately clean with friendly attentive staff. Dinner here was very good and well prepared. A little gem.

We stayed in the Larch House Suite for 2 nights DBB. Our whole experience was most excellent. The suite was spotless, very spacious and well appointed and the Autumnal views from the full height window wall magnificent! Staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. The dining experience was top class, the food was fabulous, varied and well presented. Restaurant staff were most attentive, friendly and efficient. This was our second stay at Knockendarroch Hotel and it certainly did not disappoint.

Nice quiet hotel with very comfortable room. Breakfast was very good (served) and staff were lovely. My only complaint was there was no remote control for the tv.

Just a fabulous cosy place to stay. Couldn’t fault anything. The staff were wonderful. We had half board and the evening meal was superb, as was the breakfast! Loved it all, roaring fires to have your happy hour drinks with. Apparently it is a short walk into town which sounded very interesting but we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the cosy lounges. Great!
