After a hard day of travelling, I did not appreciate the check in technology providing obstacles like not accepting confirmation numbers or forcing me to jump through hoops like providing license photos when all I wanted to do was to lie down. While the room itself was satisfactory, the heating system would not respond to commands so it was often too cold in the room. I would have appreciated extra packets of creamers left in the concierge closet, as well. I think, for me, in the future I will prefer a full service hotel.

Very nice and clean hotel. The virtual front desk attendants are very friendly and helpful. 100% recommended! Very unique layout of furnitures. Love it!

This was such a beautiful unquie experience. The building structure and room was perfect. Made you feel like going back on time while still giving the new vintage feel. The Hey Babe restaurant downstairs made it even more special

I wasn't sure about the no-front-desk hotel setup, but my stay was very pleasant. I stayed for 2 weeks, and there's a bit of a DIY element here -- housekeeping service is an add-on -- but the supply closet was always stocked. I stayed in the Deluxe King room with a sitting area. It was a lovely, quiet room with plenty of space. The restaurant in the lobby is amazing, too. Unaffiliated with the hotel, it made the list of top 25 restaurants in Pittsburgh -- definitely recommend popping in for a nightcap or a memorable meal.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful view of the church from our room! I highly recommend this place. It’s conveniently located close to everything, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. The room was very clean, and I appreciated the thoughtful touch of having non-dairy creamer available for coffee. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodated my request for a room I liked. The hotel also has a charming bar on the first floor, which added to the cozy and romantic atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful stay, and I would happily return!

The late check in process is a nightmare for anyone over 60!!! I called the hotel in the afternoon & let them know that I would be checking in late and they said they would send me a link for a pre-arrival check list. I never received it. Then I arrived after 11 pm absolutely exhausted. I tried using My confirmation booking number & it said my booking could not be found. I then called the support phone number & it took over 25 minutes bc she get sending me codes that didn't work. She attempted to send my phone links that never appeared. Then we moved onto email links. Finally she was able to help me bypass the original method so I got checked in. I was completely exasperated!!! This is so incredibly difficult & frustrating when you are 60 years old and have to do this after spending hours that day traveling & going to a concert. Not to mention the damage deposit that is non refundable & this was mentioned no where on *******! Now the building was clean & very well maintained and the bed itself was super comfortable (although 60 year old + usually don't like sleeping that low) The room amenities were appreciated. The check out process went smoothly. I think you need to well advertise that these types of hotels are not ideal for older travelers!!! I wish I knew ahead of time bc I would have made it a priority to check in early with an actual person before the concert. The person on the phone I spoke to could have warned me but didn't .
