Popilia Country Resort
"Good for star gazing"
Tui Magic Life Calabria - All Inclusive
"The hotel is good, the food is great and there is no insects. The activities are not good tho. Tried 2 times to play tennis at noon and the first time I got rackets but with no lights. The second time I tried to ask for lights in the booking from the app but they completely ignored me and guess what? They didn’t even leave the rackets out"
Piccolo Grand Hotel
"Absolutely beautiful hotel, centrally located in Pizzo. The views of the see and village are gorgeous. The hotel is clean, modern and very comfortable. We had a suite with a private terrace overlooking the sea. This is by far the nicest non-chain, non-brand hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a luxury boutique hotel. The staff were very hospitable."
B&B Puerto Seguro
"A beautiful B&B with very friendly staff. The sea is about 300 m away. Breakfast is slightly, but ok. Rooms good, was completely cleaned every 2 days by a wonderful and very friendly lady. A car is needed if you want to explore the environment. Recommended."
Galìa Luxury Resort
"The structure is very intimate and cared for both in the external environments and in the common areas. Rooms in bungalows, clean and tidy. Equipped with a courtesy kit which also includes a bathrobe. The air conditioning compressor positioned right above the entrance door is a little noisy. Comfortable mattress. Comfortable restaurant room, slightly repetitive menu but good and well-prepared food (fish-based dishes are better). Prices for the bar and extras are incomprehensibly high. Particularly courteous and efficient staff. The swimming pool is well maintained but perhaps those who use it, especially the parents of children, should remember that the hotel is also frequented by other customers. If they don't understand it, management should intervene. Negative point is the location: a couple of km from Pizzo, but reachable only by car. The beach in front (a few tens of metres) is indecent, more like a landfill (obviously not the hotel's responsibility), with considerable crowding of people and vehicles especially during weekends. Perhaps creating a hedge (of oleanders) could mitigate the visual impact and improve privacy."
La Dimora del Generale
"We went to Pizzo Calabra to visit some friends and we booked at La Dimora del Generale. The structure is new, clean and cared for in the details. Alberto the owner welcomed us with extreme kindness and availability. Highly recommended!"
Villa Primaluce
"It’s newly renovated and looks brand new. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hosts Pino and Christina are very friendly and helpful. It is secluded, which we like, but very close to a quaint little town, Pizzo. We booked for a night’s layover on our way from Palermo to Bari. Had we known it was that nice we would have booked longer."
Costa Degli Dei Rooms
Residence Pietre Bianche ApartHotel
"The pillows were flat and only got one (asked for pillows and said no) , bed was like a rock, air conditioning did not work, dead flys in the swimming pool and crane flies all swarming around the pool, shower temperature changing on its own, only cleaned your room once a week, never cleans your rubbish, swept our room and left a heap in the middle of the floor apart from that it was the best in the world"
