Popilia Country Resort ★★★★
"Accommodation after a wedding, service and dream location! 😍 We'll return as soon as possible!! 💚"
Piccolo Grand Hotel ★★★★
"Absolutely beautiful hotel, centrally located in Pizzo. The views of the see and village are gorgeous. The hotel is clean, modern and very comfortable. We had a suite with a private terrace overlooking the sea. This is by far the nicest non-chain, non-brand hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a luxury boutique hotel. The staff were very hospitable."
La Dimora del Generale ★★★
"We went to Pizzo Calabra to visit some friends and we booked at La Dimora del Generale. The structure is new, clean and cared for in the details. Alberto the owner welcomed us with extreme kindness and availability. Highly recommended!"
Residence Pietre Bianche ApartHotel ★★★
"We had a wonderful week stay here, stayed in the ground floor suite which are so specious modern & clean. It’s a very quiet & peaceful place to stay. Vera & the reception staff were so helpful & friendly & resolved all our needs during our stay. Great pool which was cleaned daily, (we had to ourselves most of our stay.). Pino was also very nice & helpful with our safe & small bits we needed doing. We didn’t have a car but was no problem getting a taxi into the local town pizzo which is 5 minute's away by car. With restaurants, few shops & plenty of ice cream places! You can’t really walk as it’s a main road with no paths. Although we did have a walk there along the beach in the day, a bit uneven & lot steps up into the main town square. The restaurant on-site was very nice & lovely friendly people, they opened at 10pm to cook for us on our arrival which was much appreciated. And delicious dishes. We had breakfast most days which was lovely but would be nice to have a few more choices of different breakfast. Would also be nice if there was a small shop or things to buy near by. Would definitely stay here again. 😊"
Tui Magic Life Calabria - All Inclusive ★★★★
"Spent ten days there from 13th June, the food and staff where ok, resort was tidy, main issue we had was that when we booked in we where massively overcharged when paying the tourist tax, the receptionist was having issues trying to work out the price and after 5 minutes she said it was £209 euros for 3 adults and a five year old for 10 days, they actually charged us 2049.14 euros, which is about £1862.46, 2 days before we left the hotel messaged us asking for us to go to reception as there had been an overpayment, they would say how much but wanted bank details for a refund, we had issues finding the banks IBAN number but eventually found it, upon returning home and checking the actual amount taken we have been in contact with TUI 3-4 times and they have been utterly useless in resolving this, the hotel said a refund was issued on the 21st June yet after talking to TUI on the 4th or 5th July they said the hotel was issuing the refund now and could still take up to 15 days, This has left us without any money until we got paid again at the end of the month, TUI seem to think its ok to just apologise and close the complaint even though there's been no refund, we've asked them for statements from the hotel but we haven't been sent any as yet, they won't even consider any form of compensation, they do not care and just fob you off,"
Villa Primaluce ★★★
"It’s newly renovated and looks brand new. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hosts Pino and Christina are very friendly and helpful. It is secluded, which we like, but very close to a quaint little town, Pizzo. We booked for a night’s layover on our way from Palermo to Bari. Had we known it was that nice we would have booked longer."
Italian Charm, Modern Elegance in Pizzo ★★★★
Costa Degli Dei Rooms ★★★
B&B Puerto Seguro ★★★
"A beautiful B&B with very friendly staff. The sea is about 300 m away. Breakfast is slightly, but ok. Rooms good, was completely cleaned every 2 days by a wonderful and very friendly lady. A car is needed if you want to explore the environment. Recommended."
