It was such a peaceful visit with a variety of options to get you up and about. Hiking, walking, swimming, boating on the lake, mountain lift, restaurants, mini golf nearby, and close to main city of Freiburg. Breakfast was splendid and offered menu for all ages and appetites. So much more. Can’t wait to return.

We have had a wonderful Christmas time with our family and stayed 4 nights here. The Hotel was very beautiful decorated, location and view are stunning, staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and clean.

Excellent hotel with 5 Star service. Great for séminaires. Nice for families with a lot of stuff to do for kids. Great choices in the restaurants and nice pool and sauna. In summer perfect for a swim in the lake in winter for an excursion to the nearby slopes.

1 start hotel at a push We stayed at this supposed to be 4 start hotel and did half board but we had a terrible experience The room was boiling hotel like as we were above the spa The beds were awful, the pillows were flat and saggy no feather left in them, they all seen better days The half board was an absolute joke because we couldn’t choice from the menu For 6 days we had 4 course meal salad, soup, main and dessert But there were all kids portions… Mains were okay but we had no options to choose as the hotel determined what we are having… Breakfast was another joke, mainly cheese and dried meat, eggs looked like powdered eggs. This only nice thing about this hotel was the staff smiling :) Otherwise absolute rip off so stay away, we cancelled midway through and found much nicer hotel

The hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel and yet at breakfast the hot breakfast was stale, scrambled eggs just left to dry up inside a warmer and bacon swimming in fat. No cereal other than granola, warm milk. Staff merely apologised and said my option was to complain at reception. We stayed at the hotel because it was reputed to be the best, clearly it’s not the best and ranks lower than a IBIS. If you are looking for quality and service then look at another hotel, this one is dreadful and offers nothing to the guest

Classico hotel di montagna, molto bello, situato di fronte al lago. Nell'hotel si possono affittare pattini su ghiaccio, sci, snowboard, ecc. per le attività da fare sulla neve. La sala ristorante ha una grandissima vetrata con la vista sulle montagne e sul lago. Il noleggio dei pattini su ghiaccio è molto conveniente (8 franchi), mentre i prezzi del ristorante non sono per niente economici: una bottiglia d'acqua (750ml) 9,50 franchi, uno strudel 12,00 franchi, un thè 4,80 franchi. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, anche se non parla italiano.

Unglaublich unfreundliches Personal! Nicht zu empfehlen. Trotz etlichen freien Tischen um 16:30 darf man sich nicht an einen Tisch mit Tischdecke setzen (wohlgemerkt NICHT eingedeckt) - dass sei schon für abends vorbereitet. Es lag lediglich eine Tischdecke. Selten habe ich ein Restaurant verlassen, aber das war einfach zu ungastlich.

Wir hatten ein wunderbares verlängertes Wochenende am Schwarzsee! Die Lage direkt am See ist einmalig und der Ort ist nicht überlaufen - ein Geheimtipp, wenn man mal so richtig für sich sein und abschalten möchte! Die Umgebung bietet alles, von Seespaziergängen über Wanderungen bis zum Skifahren. Der Ausblick vom verglasten Restaurant auf Berge & See war jeden Tag ein Highlight für uns! Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet, wir haben uns jeden Tag sehr darauf gefreut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war insbesondere am Sonntag super! Das Personal ist sehr schnell und aufmerksam. Hervorheben möchten wir, dass das Team an einer Geburtstagsüberraschung mitgewirkt hat - nochmal herzlichen Dank! Die Zimmer sind zwar von der Austtattung etwas älter, aber top gepflegt, sauber und gross (Küche/Wohnbereich mit separatem Schlafzimmer) - Blick auf friedliche, verschneite Landschaften inklusive. Den Spa-Bereich haben wir auch gerne genutzt, insbesondere die 80 Grad Sauna sowie das Dampfbad. Rundum ein perfekter Aufenthalt für uns - Umgebung, Zimmer, Essen und Wellness waren toll! Vielen Dank!
