Good hotel for this price

What I did not like is the impossibility to change the date of my reservation instantly after completing it and realising that due to my inattention I had not changed the date that was pre-entered. Thus, I paid for an overnight stay in another hotel. Because of your way of setting up things you deserve my present rating. Please make the change possible!.

HOTEL VALABLE POUR JEUNES UNIQUEMENT A FUIR ! je connaissais le concept Formule 1 dans ma jeunesse, mais là ce n'est plus possible.(j'ai 55 ans). Déjà la serviette à acheter sur place et serviette épaisse comme un simple chiffon. Salle de bain privée plus que minuscule avec manque d'un battant pour fermer douche. Télévision murale penchée de 30°. Pas de place de parking. J'ai même fuit le petit-déjeuner le matin donc je ne prononce pas à ce sujet.

Yes, I had a good idea what to expect when I booked, so I can't say I was surprised at what was offered, but I was still left feeling disappointed. Let's start with the positives. The hotel staff were friendly, although not particularly enthousiastic, and my room was clean, as was the shower and the bedding. Unfortunately, that's about it. Things almost started badly in finding the hotel, as it is cunningly concealed behind trees, and if coming from the peripherique, there is no signage. The decor throughout is awful, and I didn't like walking past piled up bags of (presumably) dirty linen in the hallway. The room itself was very small, with an ensuite shower/WC, and there was little or no room to move around the bed (the only furniture in the room). There is no wardrobe space so, as I was staying to two nights, I had to put my clothing on the bed - not ideal. The shower was OK, but there is no room to dry oneself (assuming you've remembered to bring a towel). I had to sleep with the GF window open as the AC unit was too noisy, so was frequently woken by noisy guests outside. The bed was not comfortable. Breakfast was very basic and, if you want coffee, be prepared to get up to ask the staff member to use their pass each time you want a cup. Finally, I didn't think my hotel room was cheap and at the end of the day, not value for money. Sorry, F1, but I won't be coming back.

For one night... okay. It's a budget hell hole. Perfect for a night if you are visiting the zone artisanale, or going to a concert at Le Bikini. Rooms are not small, and it's not made out of cardboard like some budget French hotels. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms clean. But toilets and showers are shared... and the toilet closest to my room was blocked and disgusting. Other, not far away were fine.
